We've reduced our overheads to manager search, merch and recommends on site.

Klevu is easy to maintain and install. We only use their search functionality for our website, and the ability to customise and change the look of search is easy to update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not sure of the fully benefits of using this particular ecom app in comparison to other competitors. Their dashboard is pretty simple and doesn't offer alot of insights apart from seeing what customers search up the most. I have seen other competitors offer the ability for personalised search. Search - Synonym recognition and search accuracy
Recommendations -Tailored suggestions that lead to upselling and cross-selling Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All good so far, nothing that I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Klevu has lots of useful functions - You can add banners to the quick search and search result page and synonyms (there is a possibility to insert URL instead of a search result for another phrase). Search results can also show content from your blog which is connected to the phrase. There is also a possibility to set a recommendation for product you would like to show higher in search results. The best customer service ever - they are very kind, respond quickly and they have all knowledge they need to support you in your Klevu journey! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't have any bad experiences with Klevu. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We implemented Klevu on our BigCommerce store after realizing the many limitations of the BigCommerce native search system. For us, Klevu has allowed us to index many times the amount of data that BigCommerce would support, leading to a much more robust and powerful search experience for our customers. The excellent support from the Kelvu dev team has helped us to further leverage our data to improve the search experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The standard search page styles are very basic and unappealing, requiring quite a bit of time to customize the experience to match our store's overall theme. The good news is Klevu does allow for this type of customization, but expect to spend a good deal of time on the layouts and style if you wish to match your store's theme. Otherwise, the landing pages will have a feel of a 3rd party connected system rather than a seamlessly integrated one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The team at Klevu is exceptional. They know how to treat requests. They are attentive and quick to respond to our issues and are more than willing to help guide us should we need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have partnered with other services and we believe the only thing that we dislike the most is that we didn't know about them or their services sooner. We are content with the services, products, and attention to us as their client they have given to us and continue to give. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product is fantastic and has revolutionised our search KPI's ensuring higher sales and better user experience on our site. It has all the necessary features in order to provide excellent AI based results plus the ability to manipulate them yourselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integration did not go well for the merchandising and recommenders. These were sold as plug and play but nearly 8 months down the line we are still not benefitting from these features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Klevu's interface is easy to use and offers a good amount of customization to accommodate a host of needs. The results are usually accurate when it comes to our website search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times, certain aspects of the interface can be challenging, such as creating custom searches/promotions, having to drag and drop with no easy way to order the results. (ie, you're forced to physically drag items from the bottom to the top rather than typing a number or double-clicking to send to top). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their search is hands down a game changer for ANY ecommerce website. On top of that their service provided and technical support is top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That I didn't find them sooner and was paying another vendor more money Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having used various search/merchandising tools previously, including apps on other projects/eCommerce platforms, Klevu stands out because of its flexible nature when it comes to integration. Klevu's quick installation for Shopify Plus works well, integrating within the platform to get up and running quickly. Insights and merchandising are tied to the app, though I'm reviewing Klevu more so from a technical and development position.
There's also a new "JSV2" product that allows for deeper integration into the platform, essentially allowing for complete control over the look and feel. For those using the standard Klevu functionality, I do like the functionality that the Klevu team has introduced into our setup specifically. Bespoke features - when it comes to algorithm and data collection, have been implemented quickly.
The Klevu team overall, from support to client success, is solid. It may take some time for certain specific issues to be ironed out, but the team is dedicated and quick to respond to any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest challenge with Klevu so far has been data collection due to the bespoke and more custom nature of our business. We have specific rules and merchandising requirements that have made some of the more granular functionality harder to implement.
Klevu's team, however, has been responsive and quick to get to where we need to be, but the need to customize some merchandising rules beyond what's out of the box has meant it has taken longer to become fine-tuned.
Another challenge has been front-end loading - lazy load, for example, is available but not fully working with pagination, nor is the ability to preserve filtered attributes when clicking the "back" button. These UX improvements were implemented by Klevu quickly, but it is certainly one to improve in the core platform.
The JSV2 product does allow for complete control over functionality, but it would need more developer input. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
