What I like the most about Khoros is the profile information column on the right-hand side. The information is easily laid out and accessible. The various ticket closing reasons make sense as long as your team uses the correct one in each ticket scenario for proper analytics tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike about Khoros is that you're not able to edit notes you add to a ticket after you've submitted them. This can make the ticket look messy and confusing if you have to submit multiple notes on one ticket. I also think the Notes portion could use some improvement. It would be helpful if it were more prominent on the user's profile panel to make it more evident to agents.
Additionally, the merge function can become messy when multiple tickets are involved. In the user's ticket history, it would make more sense to consolidate them all into one ticket option rather than still having them be broken out separately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We went through an extensive evaluation of Community Platform Vendors, with Vanilla and Khoros making it to the final two selections. Khoros had the vision to get us where we wanted to go with a roadmap to get there. Vanilla at the time seemed to lack providing us a clear vision and the road to getting there. The Khoros team was highly involved and both skilled and very supportive. Since purchase we have successfully deployed our revamped community with great success and they have been there every step along the way to support and guide us. I would highly recommend them! Creating a consistent look and feel across our community has been great. Our previous platform allowed for so much customization between groups and spaces that it was a disjointed experience sometimes for our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have a TON of groups...2400+ which isn't the norm for a Khoros customer so we are consistently finding it hard to do what were we able to on the old platform. I've always enjoyed the way that good community practices are baked into the system. The Khoros staff understands community deeply. There are many other options out there, including "bolt-on" offerings for big platforms that do a wide variety of functions. But I find the Khoros focus on community (and care) helps us to deliver the best experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As one of the most established community platforms, Khoros innovation moves a little slower than some of the newer offerings. However, they have a solid roadmap that they update and share regularly. They are also responsive to feedback. Support tickets sometimes linger; it's important to advocate strongly for fixes that need quick attention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The first outstanding feature will be the gamification which will encourage users to contribute and help other users and the next in my list will be the permission set which will be useful for access level to the different teams of the community Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be useful if it contains user-level subscriptions and dark mode features since they will be the most common feature available in other similar communities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that building community is such a strong force in brand building and Khoros helps the brands to do so without much extra effort on their side but with a wide variety of functions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like any community, it has their downsides and naysayers who become part of the communities and hinder the benefits, clean-up becomes a massive issue but it always is Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
