The complexity of the console, when I want to retrieve a file, mail or other, it is very difficult to get to what I want to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The one of the most helpful feature is the restoring of 365 mailboxes, the ease of finding mailboxes and being able to browse through mailboxes to ensure i am restoring files from the correct mailbox.

The ability to be able to share mailboxes with users to search the mailboxes by sending links.

Keep IT makes it very simple added different connectors, such as Teams, One Drive.

They should make an API manual for powershell. They have powershell API features but are only available when you contact them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked the ease of implementation and user, speed of the downloads, and the fact that the service can be used without having to license the entire tenant. We use the services to preserve data for users that are no longer with the company so we dont need that many licenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very easy to get items into keepit, but its not 100% user freindly to get them out. Searching for single items like emails and such can be almost impossible. However, they now have the option to download .PST so email searching is at least a bit better.

the only other thing we didint like is that we have to license the entire tenant to be able to save individual users teams or sharepoint info. we were told we could during implementaion but we found out this was not correct iformation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The options for data recovery can be easily overlooked in some cases by the wizard, as they are presented very quickly. It would be desirable if the options were made more granular and highlighted more clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great solution for backing up an entire MS tenant.

- unlimited storage and restore points.

- easy to integrate, setup and administrate

- can automate monitoring and other stuff using available API, so no daily login will be required

Currently I can't say anything negative about any service Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That you just can set it up and forget about it as long as nothing happens.

But restoring is also very easy and can even be done by the user themself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some special restorations are not supported or only doable over workarounds.

Native Cloud Backup (SaaS) – It does not rely on local infrastructure, offering continuous protection for data stored in services like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Azure AD, and others.

Focus only on SaaS (No Backup for Local Infrastructure)

It is excellent for backing up Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other SaaS services, but it does not cover local servers, workstations, or on-premises databases. If you need a hybrid solution, it may be necessary to complement with another tool.

Proprietary Infrastructure (No Use of AWS/Azure)

Unlike competitors like Veeam or Druva, Keepit uses its own storage and does not allow choosing where the data will be stored (for example, Azure or AWS). This can be a problem for those who already have everything standardized in a specific cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Keepit simply works - it does run on the servers of Keepit, I don't need to allocate disk space for it, and they also keep in mind that I need to stay GDPR compliant, so they host the data inside Europe when I am a European customer. It does cover what we need and the restore process is simple. Also, the data is stored in a format that I can download and work with. So, even when the target system (e.g. Dynamics or Exchange Online) is unavailable, I can still download the data and "work" with it - some data is stored as JSON, so I can write custom code to work with it. Integration with Dynamics, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive for Business was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing I dislike about Keepit is that some few error messages are not as clear as they could be. But the support is always vera helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
