It has the best RMM and the tightest integration of all Kaseya services. Autommate your patch management and help desk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much, I guess I could ask them to release their patches earlier, but it is not unbearable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We operate a large healthcare organization across multiple states and utilize Kaseya for 24/7 workstation management, software deployment, system reboots, report generation, and remote access. This tool has been invaluable for our IT department. The customer service provided by our local representative is exceptional, as he promptly assists us with any issues related to the program or billing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kaseya is a powerful tool that offers extensive functionality, although its usability could be improved. There is a learning curve associated with many of its features, and locating specific functions within the program can be time-consuming due to its complexity. The Automation feature is very good and works well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The lack of real integration with other Kaseya owned software. Having to create scripts to deploy software does not count as integration! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is very little I can write that I actually like about this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My Rocky Journey with Kaseya VSA:
I’ve had my fair share of tech frustrations, but Kaseya takes the cake. Let me walk you through what feels like a time warp and a test of patience, all rolled into one.
When Newer Mac OS Meets Old School Software:
Starting with the basics, getting Kaseya to play nice with the latest Mac OS is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. It just doesn’t work. You’d think with all the tech advancements, compatibility would be a no-brainer. Guess not.
The Never-Ending Wait for Customer Service:
Then there’s the whole ordeal with their accounting and billing team. Imagine sending out an SOS and getting a reply long after you’ve forgotten you ever asked for help. We’re talking 3+ months here. And when they do get back to you, there’s this vibe of annoyance because you haven’t paid up — as if waiting on their word wasn’t the reason for the hold-up. Talk about frustrating.
UI: A Blast from the Past:
Navigating Kaseya VSA’s interface is like stepping into a time machine set for the early 2000s. It's clunky, outdated, and anything but user-friendly. In an age where sleek and intuitive designs are the norm, this feels like a major step backward.
A Bug’s Life and Feature Fatigue:
Diving deeper into the software, the number of bugs and missing features is baffling. Even something as simple as running a basic script turns into a major project. And don’t get me started on the installer issues. It’s as if every step forward comes with two steps back.
In all honesty, my experience with Kaseya VSA has been more about navigating a minefield of issues than streamlining IT management. The tech world has moved on, but it feels like this software hasn’t gotten the memo. For anyone considering Kaseya VSA, my advice would be to look around; the tech landscape is vast, and there are definitely smoother roads to travel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kaseya has been an invaluable tool to me. Whether it's RMM, patch mgmt, or simple work flow processes that I am able to automate, they all have been like another employee to my company. I think the ability to automate processes the best. It's always a work in progress with me but it has proven to be a lifesaver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They have so many options, it's hard to get your head around everything. I'm a smaller MSP and just can't afford every option they have. They all have value but it's hard to make it work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using VSAX now for a couple of months and I'm thrilled about it. I still use VSA 9 as well but only when necessary. The speed of VSAX and the GUI is so much better. Keep going on! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Advanced reporting in VSAX is completely different and actual quite difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do like that the client allows for remote access tool as well as inventory and other endpoint management tools and the cost is reasonable. Layout is simple and easy to onboard clients and manage them once they are injested. Kaseya communicates well with scheduled downtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Interface can be a bit old, a more modern interface may be able to make it snappier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful about Kaseya VSA is the ease of use.
