What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?

Kaseya is a mature Company, and it has come a long way from being just an RMM Solution. The vision behind the technology and its capabilities are worth complimenting. The Update VSA 10 is what I have been hoping for a long time. A solution that is easy to configure with your agents, next-gen UI, and working capabilities. This Solution is not a "hit and miss" like I have seen with other providers.

Additionally, all the solutions have a deep level of integrations they own (not partnered)—one vendor, and seriously, there are a lot of headaches working with multiple vendors and different expiration dates. The Sales rep - Vimal, was responsive even on a weekend and helped me out with a technical query I had. No time taken for him to fire up zoom and walk me through on how to achieve, my desired out come.

I understand Technology takes time, and securing that tech stack is the key to smooth and secure monitoring and management.

It is also important to state that, unlike other vendors, the sales team worked as consultants to understand if this solution fit my needs. They did not hesitate to give us options to consider should VSA not meet our expectations - It did!

What made it stand out was that it took me less than a week to get my endpoints all set up with an Agent, policies, and alerts configured, tested, and working well.

Since a month post-implementation, I am glad I did not listen to all the crap posted on Reddit and decided to decide to move forward with Kaseya. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?

There is nothing for the past 1 month I did not dislike about the platform. It has been proving its worth.

What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Workflow automation works like a charm. It allowed me to create workflows that I could only dream of. The out-of-the-box scripts "Remote Lockdown" and "Remote Wipe" would be excellent if they came out of the box.

What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?

Kaseya's remote access tool has been a lifesaver for me and our IT team. Using a very lightweight agent, it allows us to easily and quickly access user computers remotely to perform administrative work, with a fast interface.

Windows patching works well and allows us to push relevant updates when they are needed. This complements the built-in Windows Update features very nicely.

The web user interface also allows us to remotely run command line commands as well as remotely reboot computers, which is a very helpful feature in case the computer is not accessible via standard remote access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?

It would be nice if the remote access tool would prompt the user for permission to connect.

Also, the pop-up that users get after Windows patches install are not very customizable and users don't know if it is a legitimate pop-up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kaseya is working on providing the ability for users to consent to remote sessions, from what I understand. Also, the GUI is due for a slight visual upgrade which I believe is in the works as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?

I love how easy the remote management element is to use, as well as pushing out Scripts, creating Workflows, setting up Tasks, etc. It's easy to use, and if I ever run into an issue, Support is always quick to respond to assist with whatever needs we have. What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?

Would love to see additional integrations with BMS like being able to add all of our custom fields, sub-categories, etc. The Ticket integration, at times, has trouble connecting. When we started, I was looking for a central unified application that would allow us to manage our entire network from one centralized location. The way Kaseya, and specifically, VSA integrates into everything and communicates so seemlessly with all of their other products, creates an efficient way for IT Managers, MSP's, and all IT Technicians, to manage the network(s) with confidence. What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?

The way it integrates with all the other modules that make the IT day to day tasks seamless. I use it in a mixed environment of Mac and PC. I use it daily to accomplish my IT challenges. Onboarding was very seamless quick and didn't interuppt the work flow of the Staff. They were there every strp of the implentaton to support our onboarding questions. What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?

I've found the VSA to be extremely helpful to me as a department of one, who handles approximately 30 sites. This helps keep me organized and helps me automate things that I would have to either go onsite for or send detailed instructions for, which would take a lot of time out of my day. I also love that I can keep the OS and software patched automatically, so I no longer need to worry about whether or not the staff is running their necessary updates. Efficiency at its finest! What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?

I like that it updates the OSs and will update 3rd party programs as well. I also like that we can see what programs are installed on the computers and also that we can see snapshots of the computers as well. That way we know if someone is working or if their logged out and we need to do maintenace on their pc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish we could install a 3 party software that is not on VSAX. I also don't like that we can't remote into end users PCs without them having to authorize it. A lot of times the end user is not there and we have to remote into their PC to fix stuff while they are in a meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?

We have worked with other RMM systems, but VSA has been a game changer. We have deployed scripts and workflows easily. We would still like to use its full features in the future for which we are training on regular basis.

What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?

We use it every day to connect and assist our users. Install programs and remove them as well. We also use it to keep track of devices that no one is useing as they show up as off line then we can get them back from the assgined user. Tracking inventory is much easier. What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?

I enjoy being able to have access to all my assets no matter where I am at as well as having the ability to patch machines without having to think about it. We make sure to check for updates weekly and to install them when we can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?

I love the lightweight agent deployment which works really well on both Mac's and PC's. The administration console is extremely modern and dead simple to use with tons of functionality to take advantage of. The mobile app is also quite modern and gives you almost all the functionalities for the full web based interface. Support is fantastic, with quick responses and knowledgable staff. We use VSA X daily and it is an integral part of our operations. It integrates beautifully with Autotask PSA which makes life even easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?

The only annoyance we have at the moment is the MacOS agents do require you to login with an engineer’s credentials for the first time upon installing the agent to ensure it registers in VSA X - a minor inconvenience.
