For how well it intergrates with our existing outlook calendar and for multiple users then we are really pleased. The unit arrived quickly, looks really good (nice having our logo on it) and the customer service video call I required was really helpful in getting everything working for our needs. We only have one meeting room to connect at the moment but it will get used frequently and having the scope to add more later could be really helpful as our business grows. Not knowing the unit was coming from outside the UK meant we had to pay a large fee to receive it from the courier which we were not expecting. We also needed out IT contractors to sort out the calendar system as this was not something we had permissions for so there was a lot of time spent trying to go through all the instructions on the website. The best part I would like mention about the entire Joan system is its Management. We have migrated from Exchange On-Prem to Exchange Online last year and Jaon support helped me to migrate the system to the Cloud Connector. We got rid of the Ubuntu server where the On-prem connector and since then we don't have any issue. Just runs perfect, really easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love about JOAN is that it's really easy to book your preferred spot without having to go through a lot of hassle.JOAN was a good resource to use while working at HAGER-Executive Consulting. It really made the work environment better by adding value. The initial setup was very easy due to its simplicity therefore there were no difficulties in getting started. The customer service is the best attribute of JOAN, they were very prompt in response to all queries resolved all problems instantly. And we frequently do use the product in the course of the day which already indicates the trust and comfortability of the product. From the extensive list of features, it steamlines all the possible areas of need, both the customer and the company as much as possible. As an organisation that moved to a hot-desking model post-lockdown we needed a system to ensure our colleagues could book desks and see who was in the office and when. Joan provides this for us with a really simple to use, user friendly interface. We were able to roll the system out without the need for lengthy, complex training sessions which always helps. The interface and devices are easy to configure and use, and are robustly built which can be handy if you have heavy handed employees! easy using for everybody. the implementation is only one login with your gmailadresse. i dont know how much more features there are but for planning your office space and knowing which employees are at the office right now or the next days/week is very helpfull to coordinate yourself and get some important KPIs. the support is also very helpfull and easy to contact. Since we have installed Joan room booking system, to fight for a meeting room is over, and with a large room with multipe doors, we have a unit each point of entry and with the pro model, this includes a traffic light system to show from afar that its in use with the red glowing orb around the unit.
It was quite stright forward to get it configured and working, very little information had to be given to users.
The quick book feature of walk ups is conveniant.
Have had an issue with one unit, and was convinised that this was faulty and would require replacement, but after a quick remote session with a tech they not only got it running, got the software updated and stayed online until i was happy it was all working.

If a meeting finishes early, you are not able to show that the room has been released for use, but being able to extend a meeting from either the 365 calender or from the unit itself is also a good feature.

I love how they mount so easily on the glass and have long lasting batteries eiliminating the need for messy cords. They're clean, nice looking and integrate easily to G-Suite. When rooms are busy, they turn dark, making it easy to quickly identify which rooms are free for use, without the need to walk up and read which are avaialble. Given that their customer service is based overseas, it takes a minute to get a response if you're needing support. They're super responsive and friendly, which has been great, despite a bit of a delay due to time zones. We bought a couple of the devices via auction so getting them disconnected from the previous owner took a little doing, but uneventful once we got to that point. While Joan is a useful tool for managing meeting room bookings, I’ve encountered an issue where the screens occasionally freeze. When this happens, it can be quite challenging to unfreeze them, which disrupts the otherwise smooth experience.
