Birst have the following capabilities:
1. Better processing and infrastructure capabilities
2. Custom Measures/Attributes creation are much user friendly as compared to other tools.
3. User friendly Report design tools.
3. Better APIs option to check any data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Following things can be improved:
1. UI designs can be improved further to simplify in understanding.
2. Most of the things can brought up to one page instead of multiple pages. Like Space properties options.
3. More BQL functions can be added to simplify the complex BQL further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Birst is not such a complex business intelligence tool. The outlook of the tool is straightforward and basic. The features are basic, easy to understand and use. The integration of CRMs is quite seamless. The Dashboards are very impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Birst works slowly sometimes while exporting extensive data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can say the data modeling is very easy in Infor Birst. We can configure data source very easily Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is one of the best AI-based data visualization and modelling tools currently used in Infor CloudSuite WMS and other Infor Tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the reports are very limited and customization is not possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are many things I like about Infor Birst and among them is the way it integrates with data from multiple sources and refers us to make one or several representations of it through visualization dashboards for better understanding and less cumbersome analysis. On the other hand, it is intuitive, has a good support team and its reporting tool is a highlight of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has a learning curve that is steep at first, but as you use it, the technique gets better and everything becomes easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Birst is being used within my organization for BI visualization and distribution. Birst has great intuitiveness in its user interface and makes it easy to integrate with data. Birst's dashboards are excellent for displaying data and it has global filters. Its analytical capabilities are exceptional, as is its reporting and information distribution functionality. Their customer service is top notch, excellent all around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think they should add more graphing and charting options, it is still limited in that aspect; on the other hand, some functions are complex and represent a challenge for the user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Birst uses what it calls “intelligent unification technologies” that map and model data from multiple sources. So whether the data lives in cloud applications, transactional systems, data lakes, or elsewhere, it’s all captured in one consistent view.
For example, imagine working with a dozen data sources, each of which has its own definition of “company.” Birst makes it easy to unify these data sources so that they’re all speaking the same language and use the same definition for “company.” To paraphrase Google’s Hal Varian, “Data is like oil—it must be refined before it can be used.”
My organization needed a solution that provided both core enterprise reporting capabilities and the data visualization/exploration of a BI tool - all wrapped in a model that allows us to embed both BI assets and creation tools within our web applications. Birst was able to provide just that solution and has been a solid partner. The Birst professional services team was able to get a vanilla implementation up and running for us very quickly, and has been helpful as we've tackled more complex embedding work (crafting an abstraction layer, surfacing the Birst toolset, etc.). Having the combined reporting and BI engines has been key for our users, and we've received positive feedback on ease-of-use for both interactive embedded visualizations and the Birst authoring tools. Because we've OEMed the solution into our products, our non-standard implementation has made interactions with Support challenging at times - our CSMs have always been a huge help.
The breadth of solution provided by Birst is a big plus for us - it's a true full-stack offering. The strength of that solution has allowed us to provide a fully cloud-based, embedded set of BI tools within our applications. While there's always a learning curve for BI tools, our users have liked that the Birst authoring tools are relatively intuitive and easy for them to adopt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't dislike Infor Birst. Birst’s fundamental BI capability is multi-tenancy. This allows the creation of virtual (not physical) BI tenants that relate to one another. Traditionally, organizations depend on physical replication of BI infrastructure, making the process time-consuming and costly.
But Birst allows different groups—such as marketing, sales, finance, and more—to use their virtual copies of the data and blend that with their local data to deliver quality results. Say hello to improved consistency and more inter-team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Building Data mart/Data Warehouse takes months and years in typical BI environment. However with Infor-Birst turnaround time is in days and weeks. The ADR feature of product is very unique.
It supports both Pixel Perfect and Ad-hoc reporting which very few tools do.
Ease of use and availability on both Cloud and on Premises.
