- Domo actually tries to apply feedback given in the community forum to updates/changes
- The Knowledge Base is a great resource for new users & training materials
- Magic ETL makes it easy to build dataflows with minimal SQL knowledge & has excellent features for denoting why dataflow features are in place in case anyone but the original user needs to revise/edit the dataflow
- The automated reporting feature is a great tool to encourage adoption Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Updates/changes & their impact on existing dataflows are not well communicated, making the platform prone to "glitches"
- Customization of dashboard layout & filter options is not the best pairing for efficient use of space & end-user friendliness
- Customer support is relatively slow (but they do tend to positively resolve issues) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm not sure I like this about it as I come from a strong SQL database background, but for normal business users, tooling with their data and making reports becomes very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So this is the other side of the coin compared to what I just said. In our small ish company with about 200 employees, we have over 11,000 cards (reports) and thousands of calculated fields (beast modes). The ease of use for business users has somewhat led to a proliferation of reports, many of which are never seen, but remain, making it somewhat tough to know what you can delete later on. The calculated fields/beast modes also can be done differently depending on what each user takes into account, so it's important to keep those straight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MagicETL that makes it easy to manipulate data, connectors to allow sourcing data from several places and real time reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the features are premium only and the cost could be high if you have large data running in the platform. The push for consumption model is based on not making these features available which limits what can be done in the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a powerful platform that makes data visualization easy to learn and utilize. Domo's support team is quick to assist me when I have problems and are great at communicating where they are at in their mitigation process. I know that Domo is constantly interacting with their users through their various community platforms and events which I really appreciate. I know that I can suggest new tools and the Domo team will actually consider them which is great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Domo is constantly evolving and creating new products and tools which is amazing, but documentation can sometimes be hard to find to support these new tools. I also find that Domo has a lot of bugs with their new tools, which obviously is to be expected, but I wish ther was more testing done before releasing or announcing the release of new products. However, I feel like I am able to quickly notify Domo support of any issues I find and they are able to help me or let me know that they are notifying their engineering team. Just like the title says--Domo is extremely user friendly. When showing a new user how to navigate, you basically just have to show them the filter views and how to use the date ranges (which isn't difficult). After that, they can pretty much navigate themselves and find insights that are interesting to them.
The coding is pretty intuitive and Domo lets you know if the coding is accepted and valid. The only thing that would improve this process is if it would actually point out the part of the code that isn't working. That said, the knowledge library has a lot information in it and comes in useful quite often when the code isn't working or when you don't quite know how to do something.
Domo excels when being used for visuals. If you're looking for a software that makes it easy to pull in data and create visuals based off of it, this is it. The development team continues to add more features and to make Domo more capable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The coding language for Domo, while not difficult, is slightly different from other languages. It's mostly intuitive, but there are a few quirks that you have to be aware of. They're still working on developing some aspects, as well, so certain things like user editable fields are not currently an option. However, they are continuously improving and working on adding more functionality, so I don't find this to be concerning. It is not a CRM, so if that's what you're looking for, this isn't it (yet--maybe they'll develop that in the future). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our leadership team relies on Domo for accurate visiblity into the business. With the customization and ease of use that Domo provides, we are able to accomplish that. The simplicity of connecting databases is also a huge bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In some situations, a beast mode is required to filter out rows of data- specifically rows that don't have data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Domo is how it helps teams see data easily and make quick choices. The visuals are nice, and it’s simple to use!
Beast Mode lets you create your own calculations in Domo. This is great for specific analysis that regular data can't do. You can use math, logic, and text tools to build flexible numbers.
Domo also connects easily to different databases, like MySQL and Amazon Redshift. Other examples are PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery, and Oracle. This helps companies combine data and make better choices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some BI tools have things that Domo doesn’t. For example, Tableau and Power BI can do more advanced analysis and let you customize reports more. Some work better with certain apps or let you use them offline. Others can handle different types of data, like text and images, better. Plus, some might be cheaper. Each tool has its own strengths, so the best one depends on what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the versatility and customization for visualizations that help capture the attention of the audience and stakeholders. The ease of use makes it easy to frequently use Domo with customers and provide support using descriptive and prescriptive analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fees and extra charges for each additional product/feature detract from the maximum potential for small businesses or not-for-profit businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
How everything is in the platform, from ingesting data, to standarized, to monitoring, to visualization, even to AI and machine learning Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes Domo pushes/promotes features that are half baked and not ready for prime time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Affordability and Ease of Use:
As a startup company very early in the business, one of our main targets is also to keep everything within budget and minimise the cost, wherever possible. DOMO helps a great deal in that. Not only is it affordable, but also very easy to use. The visualizations, charts and dashboards are easy to understand and grasp.
2. Mobile Accessibility:
One of the best things about DOMO is its mobile application, both for android as well as iOS users. The CXOs of the company can view dashboards and insights easily on their fingertips through the mobile app.
3. Customer Support:
DOMO provides good support and customer care options and the support team is always ready to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Despite being easy-to-use and affordable, there are a few not-so-big disadvantages of using DOMO. You won't see much of the themes and creative visuals here. Only limited themes are there which can make almost all the dashboards/apps look similar. Visualizations, charts and colors/themes can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
