I really like how user friendly the platform is, and how seamless it is to implement and integrate with other platforms. I use it every day, mainly for email marketing, so it's important to me that it's well integrated and that I can build things out directly. Building emails is really simple, and there's so much room for customization. Customer support has also been great, we have a dedicated CSM who proactively reached out to me and it's been great working with her. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the only complaint I have is that sometimes I can't customize the reports as much as I'd like to. I would like certain metrics such as unique marketing emails sent instead of total emails, for example, but I haven't been able to figure that out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how it is for the most part quite user-friendly and HubSpot Academy is quite informative. I used it from university all the way up until now. I like how everything you need for marketing and customer engagement is in this platform and the price isn't bad compared to other CRMs. Really easy to implement and I actually work for a tech company and integration to our product was seamless. I find the account managers quite difficult to get ahold of and they upcharge you for the littlest things like adding a few more marketing contacts. The social media tools like the social calendar experiences a lot of glitches like not being able to exit to another tab without it erasing everything or having to constantly connect your accounts. I also find the social media tool to be not as intuitive or as up- to-date as the rest of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Marketing Hub allows my small, in-house marketing team of six people to accomplish so much without wasting time switching between platforms. Setting up the account and individual profiles was straightforward with minimal additional research needed. As for the use case, we use the Marketing Hub for things like landing page creation, automated drip campaigns/emails, social media publishing, and email newsletters. These tasks occur almost daily so I'm almost always keeping HubSpot open on my tabs. Likewise, I have found the platform's customer support and knowledge base to be excellent and able to provide help during the first attempt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing comes to mind at the moment since HubSpot keeps up-to-date with integrations and functionality. It really has become an all-in-one solution for our marketing team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I tried the free version of Hubspot three times before committing. Initially, the software seemed to be more than I needed, so I would try a different CRM. Eventually, I discovered the other CRMs didn't offer enough, and I came back to Hubspot. The software is now my go-to platform at the start of every workday. I am a business/media coach. I use it to log emails, calls, and coaching sessions with each client. I also now use Hubspot Forms on my website to build my email list and automatically send newsletters to potential clients using the Hubspot Email option and workflows. The AI/Copilot features aren't as robust as advertised. Also, Hubspot needs another pricing option between the Starter and Professional tiers. There's a huge pricing jump between the two. I'd be glad to pay for more features...but not $800/month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and distribution business software industry, and I can confidently say that HubSpot stands out for its exceptional balance between ease of use and cost-effectiveness. What truly sets HubSpot apart is its commitment to continuous improvement, introducing meaningful updates that directly enhance the end-user experience. Additionally, the opportunity to access HubSpot interns adds even more value to their offering. With all these advantages combined, why would you choose anything else? While HubSpot offers impressive ease of use and solid value for its cost, there are some areas where it falls short for me. Despite their constant updates, some changes feel more like cosmetic upgrades rather than solving real workflow issues. Additionally, certain advanced features are locked behind higher pricing tiers, which can quickly drive up costs. Their reporting capabilities, while decent, often lack the depth and customization I need for complex business insights. Plus, the learning curve for fully utilizing all of HubSpot's tools can be steeper than expected. Overall, while HubSpot has its strengths, these drawbacks leave me wishing for a more polished and cost-efficient experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hubspot marketing hub is good while we are working on our dashboards and marketing mails what we can send from the hubspot directly we don't have to do anything plus we can set sequences as well to send automatically mails and also hubspot is too good till now and some good things I've learnt. The only thing I don't like about hubspot is they don't have the segregation methods as per the DNP and on hold colomns because it will be difficult for us to understand. if we want to do that that is very difficult as we have to put them in different stages name Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of creating and sending emails, with the ability to clone and insert enhancements like basic personalization using contact properties and adding a button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that the email health doesn't account for old contacts and allow you to personalize your expected bounce rate so it doesn't hurt your deliverability within the platform. I also wish more features were available without spending so much more annually to upgrade to the next tier of the plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hubspot is very user friendly, especially compared to other tools like Salesforce/Pardot. I love that's in an all-in-one tool and that your data is right there. It makes it easy to segment when taking marketing actions. It's also pretty easy to implement, and if anything, there are many ways to contact the customer support team. The social media module is a great idea, but it's not developed enough, so it can't yet replace a real social media scheduler tool. The concept of "marketing contacts" also makes it much harder to manage than before. It should at least come with pre-made workflows that are easy to customize for who should be a marketing contact or not. The email templates also have limited features. We used HubSpot for a couple of years but decided to pause our subscription for a few months. The product itself is decent, especially considering the limited alternatives available for this type of marketing need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unresponsive Billing & Customer Support Issues
After returning to our HubSpot account a few months later, we found it deactivated due to a past-due invoice. Their billing department and customer support instructed us to pay via wire transfer, which we did—prepaying for several months of service. However, once the payment was made, customer support stopped responding entirely. Despite paying for a full year, our service was never reactivated, and all follow-up emails were ignored. HubSpot provides no phone support, only email, making it feel like we were dealing with an automated system that prioritizes payments over resolving issues. Frustrated, I contacted their sales team—where I could finally speak to a real person—only to discover that they had downgraded our account to a free version, despite our full payment for the rest of the year. So, it appears that I have to provide a more detailed description of my experiences with HubSpot for G2 to post my review. Okay, here it goes. The best part about HubSpot, in my opinion, was the CRM, it’s free, and because of this, I wanted to get into the platform more deeply. I signed up for the starter packages for all the services they offered. This, in turn started me down the path of using their system exclusively for my business. This leads to what I dislike about HubSpot and the unfortunate decision to stop business with them and the platform. We had two hurricanes hit us in Florida, and for some reason, I found that I was logged out of my account on all devices. I have no clue how that could happen, but it is what it is. And, of course, my other administrator is here as well, so both of our power and internet were down for over 2-weeks. So, with that being said, I could not get signed into my account due to the two-factor authentication. So, I tried multiple times to get support to help me. Now, due to me only having the starter package, they would not support me on the phone, so this was done through email. Unfortunately, they could not understand that I was offline and could not log into my account. The support agents, as well as the agreements or subscription agent, kept telling me in order for them to help I needed to log in and create a support ticket. Unreal, they could not get the fact that I could not log in. So, this is why I no longer suggest using this platform unless you are ready to spend the big dollars so that you can get phone support! Really good templates for email marketing and the ability to have email tracking (so you know and are notified when target customers open those emails) is invaluable.
I like that setting up an email marketing campaign is really easy, and Hubspot send you emails automatically reminding you to set up further functionality if you haven't had time to do so yet.
It was also really easy to implement and the reporting is good too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest issue I have had is some contacts I added early on were not ticked as marketing contacts (my error - I didn't know what I was doing initially!), and therefore don't appear on email marketing lists.
I understand why, but it's way too difficult and confusing to change the subscriptions once they have been set up incorrectly. I have had to send emails manually to a number of contacts due to this (not the end of the world but frustrating). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
