Guru is an excellent tool to share and spread knowledge anywhere, anytime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing missing, is that, i'd love to get suggestions on Cards i viewed, outside the Google Chrome Extension. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that guru is easily organizable into Collections, Boards within collections, Sections within boards, and Cards within the sections! I am new to an enablement position and have loved how I can easily orgnanize all internal education material. I love that our team can both search for the content, or easily browse through all collections to learn more about proceses! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that guru had the ability to share the same Board across multiple Collections Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Locating a topic I need to research. Also having it on my sidebar for easy access Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike how when I was first learning the program, it seemed too busy in the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being able to seek additional information on common topics and company specific jargon, cards help to commit topics to memory and limit the amount of questions being asked when training a large amount of people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I havent found any downsides of using guru. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of searching topics and ability to communicate amongst larger teams Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It lacks notifying me outside of the website about assigned card verifications needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like best having all of the common related information organized in one place. I like being able to jump to different cards and view information specific to certain areas. Its super helpful as well having links you can click on and pull up web pages, this has helped cut down on the time it takes to put together emails and include hyperlinks etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, I cannot think of anything I truly dislike. Guru keeps changing and improving and the only thing I really dislike is when I go to look for something and rather than finding the information I need it shows TBD. When I have someone on the phone and I try to search for an answer and then find that it can be disheartening, but I know it takes time to find and report accurate information, so I know in the future once the info has been determined I can trust it is 100% correct be confident in the information I am referencing. The search-ability is better than others and I like how the cards are organized. As we move upstream with our business we are needed more and more ways to better our systems, processes, and cadences so our team is not asking the same questions and wasting valuable time of each employee. What we like best is the functionality of the software and searchability to be able to find the answers to questions that need a quick response. At the end of the day, we are looking for ways to find information quickly and not take other people's time away from what they are doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you are new to Guru it's a lot to learn and can be time-consuming. Sometimes the answers are difficult to find if the information is not submitted correctly. So if the person that submitted the Guru card did it incorrectly then its hard to find and then it takes more time to find the person that submitted it and then have them correct it and then resubmit it and then roll it out to the rest of the org. Also, we use slack, and sometimes the Guru info doesn't come in right on Slack and then I have to reach out to Slack to have them look into it. It doesn't happen too often. I love how easy it is for our users to access information (and accurately at that!). It also has excellent formatting and integrations available, making it easy to find information within Guru cards. I also love that they have a Google Chrome extension where you can access Guru from anywhere! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a lot for a new user to take on! Definitely need separate onboarding to prepare users for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
