What do you like best about GrowByData Market Intelligence?

The GBD team is the most engaged and supportive third-party tool team I have ever worked with. Not only is the team a pleasure to work with, but they are always up for a challenge, providing solutions, and have a sense of urgency when handling requests from our teams.

One of the key benefits of GBD over other tools is the level of granularity, and flexibility with that granularity, we have been able to get from any SERP monitoring tool. The team is always monitoring for new SERP features, willing and able to adjust reporting to accommodate the many changes we see in the space, and can always send over specific data exports if there is a nuanced request. This allows our teams to stay on the cutting edge of our field and provide high-value data to clients quickly and easily.

What do you like best about GrowByData Market Intelligence?

One of the greatest aspects of GBD is its ability to provide rapid insights into our website's Share of Voice (SOV). Within 24 hours, I can gain valuable knowledge on our current market position. Since GBD scrapes the web daily, I have access to important metrics for a subset of keywords the very next day after submitting my request.

What do you like best about GrowByData Market Intelligence?

GrowByData over my years of working with them has been amazing at figuring out trends and features that otherwise would have been frankly impossible to get. Having an easy to digest report at your fingertips with up to the day data makes it invaluable both for longer term strategic use and for answering imediate questions. Its super easy to get started with and intergrate into your day to day. I and my team use their dash daily. And above all it should be noted that the team is excellent at helping point out trends & new features-at points new features have even been rolled out in response to questions and asks about new features. What do you like best about GrowByData Market Intelligence?

GBD is the perfect tool to identify and then evaluate SERP updates and any changes in SERP landscape. GBD is also an effective competitive insight tool. SEM teams are limited to Google Ads auction insights for competitive monitoring. GBD is the best tool to be able to confirm and add supplemental views for competitor presence. One of the biggest advantages and value-add we have seen from GBD is presenting data/dashboards to the client. A. in case there's any distrust in Google reporting for SEM, and B. forcing us to step outside of the SEM blinders and introducing conversation that is holistic SERP, clients have really appreciated both of these initiatives.

Absolutely no downfalls or cons to using GBD, the only call out would be that GBD supplies SO much information and data that it can become overwhelming, or is overwhelming at first glance. SEM team does not run brand ads, and we use GBD to monitor competitors bidding on our brand terms. Without GBD we wouldn't be able to do this through Google Ads.

What do you like best about GrowByData Market Intelligence?

The granularity of the data that GBD captures is unreal. With GBD, my clients can see all of the competitors in the SERP, and not just what the engines report on, which often leaves out small advertisers. As a Paid Search agency director, there are two recurring conversations with clients: 1) what's our competition doing? and 2) do we need to spend money on defending our own brand? GBD has helped tremendously with both of these conversations. Because GBD scrapes SERPs from top to bottom, I'm able to get competitor insights on advertisers who don't show up in engine auction insight reporting, plus get insight into organic competition. Provides an unparalleled picture of auction dynamics including expansive SERP ad competitor coverage that dwarfs Google Ads auction insights in both the number of competitors it reports and the level of detail, including specific ads, that it provides in an accesible, easy to use dashboard. Most of my clients are interested in monitoring competitor activity, especially in their own brand auctions. Google auction insights is limited in competitor visibility and detail, often providing one or few competitors with a few relatively useful, but sometimes confusing metrics. GBD dahboards provide visibility into all competitors with trendline views of their presence by keyword or keyword category, as well as specific ads categorized by easy-to-filter segments like promotional language. What do you like best about GrowByData Market Intelligence?

The GrowByData team and support has helped my clients generate a ton of insights to fill in the reporting blindspots from in-engine tools. They have helped us uncover areas of incrementality, investment levels that drive holistic SOV wins, keeping us at the cutting edge of SERP changes and trends, and have helped us keep Brand integrity in tact when battling affiliate piracy. I have not seen tools/support that match GBD capabilities, and the support team was super helpful and proactive in helping us solve problems, uncover opportunity, and generate insights. The tool is most useful when there are specific questions that you are trying to answer. The team does a great job customizing your scans and dashboards into views that are helpful. What do you like best about GrowByData Market Intelligence?

GrowByData gives us insights into the "digital shelf" that consumers see across our clients for a myriad of digital platforms- especially Google, Bing, Amazon and other RMNs. l

This data helps us to highight performance changes and opportuntiies that may be masked by platform-only reporting.

Adding platforms, products or keywords is very easy. They can start scans very quickly and as the data builds over time, it only becomes more powerful. We typically scan at least daily and will look at mulitple scans a day when we want to investigate specific pricing or competitive changes intra-day.

We have especially found success in looking at granular geo data and identifying regional opportunities to capture market share in the SERPs.

Beyond the data, their team is very supportive in providing analysis suggestions and evolving the platform to help reveal insights in a very dynamic landscape.
