Grove HR Pros and Cons

Before, recruitment tends to eat up a lot of time with paper works, separate procedures, and manual data entry. Grove HR helps centralize and automate everything. It automatically receives candidate data, integrates it all on one simple hiring pipeline (candidate profiling, progress tracking, collaborative scoring, etc.). The collaborative hiring feature is most useful for my organization, specifically, since there are many parties involved in one hiring campaign. It saved tons of time not having to book a meeting to pick the new manager. Beyond that, Grove also helps onboard new hires effortlessly. All the paper works and repeated procedures can be done automatically, so we can focus on welcoming newcomers. Believe it or not, our entire hiring time reduces to only half of that before. You can upload a raw CV file on to Grove HR, they can automatically harvest data out of it, but currently it can only read about 70% of it, the rest still have to be manually input. Besides, the comment field about a candidate is character-limited. Hope to see the improvements in this, otherwise great job! What problems are you solving with Grove? What I love the most about Grove HR is how efficiently they manage my data. When I just started out, I used to use Excel and it was messy. Having to sort through different sheets was a real struggle but now with Grove HR, I just need to upload the data and everything is organized, secured. A major thing I'd suggest they improve on is to be more employee-engaging. Employees don't feel the need to interact often with the product as I do. Also, I would like to have performance management integrated in the product, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Now, all our recruitment activities are executed in Grove HR. We have our own career page, job board integration and customized hiring flow. Not to mention the Hiring Team feature, my team and I have been able to collaborate and further scrutinize our candidates without having to leave the platform! Grove HR's directory, org chart and employee records are also helpful and easy to use. The only thing we have an issue with is the comment for team members being character limited and that it can not enter another line. Besides, when there is a new comment, there should be a notification for everyone in the team about it to avoid friction in the scoring process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I love about this company is the customer service. They are extremely responsive to all my inquiries and even adjusts the product to fit my company’s needs. For example, they add the option of half-day working, instead of only full-day because my company only works Saturdays morning. How amazing is that?! Plus, all the basic things an HRIS should do, I think they have it all. There are still some more to be desired, which I could name a few: Uncompleted mobile app, English-only, still lack some ready-made templates like interview invitation email. The friendly and beautiful UI is what attracts me first. Then, recruitment features are really efficient and powerful by allowing us to upload and manage candidate data in one place, work with team members online so it helps to speed up the interview process. We also really like the time-off feature integrated in the mobile app so that employees can request anytime and our team and collect that data easily every month to calculate payroll. Tthe reports are kinda basic and uncustomizable, I have to export the data to Excel to make pivot reports. The onboarding is still difficult to use. Plus, the mobile app not really engages with the employees except requesting time-off. Some of the features needs more customized like the hiring note - it limits the characters. I like that it has all the basics needs such as recruitment, leave management, attendance tracker, HRIS and basic reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I hope they add performance management, OKRs, Goal setting, payroll (that customisable per country), a simple pulse survey and hopeful some APIs to other apps. We would be willing to pay for these features.
