What do you like best about Grove HR?

What do you like best about Grove HR?

Great tool! Previously we used different web tools to organize our HR (recruitment, onboarding timesheet). Now we use a single app for the entire work and information flow. What do you like best about Grove HR?

Onboarding experience for new employees. It's fun, aesthetically pleasing, does a great job building on the excitement for the new team member and making them feel welcome before they even step in the door. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grove HR?

I wish there were templates for electronic onboarding forms, e.g., New Employee Details form. Where you can either send the default template as is, or have the option to edit fields, customize questions, etc

What do you like best about Grove HR?

Before GroveHR, my HR team used a competitor's platform to digitize many of the processes that they otherwise completed manually. However, with the competitor's platform, we kept running into bugs and found that they had very little time to help out "the little guy" - us, a small startup. After scouring the internet for an alternative solution, the team came across GroveHR.

GroveHR offers a variety of ways not just to automate several HR processes but also enables the team to have more transparent cross-team communication about a variety of factors. For instance, I, as the CEO of the company, use the News feature to send shoutouts to employees who are performing well regularly. One other way it has made things better is by enabling greater transparency in sharing company-wide announcements on projects, the ever-changing post-pandemic policies, and so on, simply through an easy-to-use and intuitive News feature. This simple example shows how a well-polished feature on a platform can help a business make a transformational change in the way they communicate.

There are also many other features that have been most beneficial to my HR team. Firstly, the transition to GroveHR from a competitor's platform was near-seamless. Company documents could be easily uploaded. Ofices could be split up and divided between our multi-city and multi-country operations cohesively and coherently. The company structure was now less confusing and more transparent for new (and old) employees. The latest addition of a geofencing clock in/clock out process also has made keeping track of our remote workforce relatively easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grove HR?

GroveHR is an up and coming platform, so of course there will be many improvements down the line as time passes. I am most looking forward to a deeper system for assigning leaves to employees, so that they can be as flexible as possible. We are not able to assign leaves based on our Financial Year (April-March); currently it can only be done in a Calendar Year. As a growing platform, I hope they take this feedback on board and work on this, since this would make our life (and, I imagine, other company's lives), much easier. What do you like best about Grove HR?

It has the best onboarding experience which I like the most. New Joiners will love it and you can give the best experience

Also Checkin and Checkout which gives the best expereince for end users where it helps to track the working activiy of employees.

It also has custom fields which can be customized to our business needs.

Mobile App is awesome but needs some improvements.

Last but not least it has summary reports which provides summary details and it can be used for track of things.

Recommendations:-

There should be a feature where adhoc todo list can be sent to employees to complete like we have onboarding and offboarding

Default Payslip template should be available with in app which should generate to end users.

Rest Api access to app should be given so that it can be integrated with project management apps like Jira or collobaration tools like Microsoft teams so that it has 360 degree view.

Feature to send News to specific groups should be allowed, Though we have at department level, still at group level is important

There should be a addition permission given to admin where we can restrict to delete documents uploaded to app, they should be able to upload docs but should not delete as we ask users to upload as a part of onboarding process to upload experience and other certificates and these should be available for audits. What do you dislike about Grove HR?

There are some improvements needed on payroll and few aspects but overall the app is awesome. I have given the recommendations above.

Looks like team is coming up with frequent releases of new features which is why the product has huge user base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Grove HR?

All the parts of this product are best. I can not point to a single tab or pane. Product is having NMS as well as EMS capabilities. You can monitor incidents as well as employees. You can manage their attendance, leaves erc as well as their team. In short, you will get all the things in this product which are necessary to run a business or company. Very valuable product, helpful in improving productivity, you will get everything in this product which is required in EMS NMS etc, I'll recommend to everyone, in short (Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Grove HR?

The attendance system is very good with QR code generator and geo-fencing lately

Employees chart and profile

mobile application is really friendly

it really helps you within the free account

What do you dislike about Grove HR?

the payroll system has a lot of problems

you can't control or understand easily

there is a lot of actions that can't be undone, which's made it very difficult

the pricing system isn't clear

The dashboard has no much important info

There is no Break time clock in and out

it's need more flexabilty in customization so it can fits any national system like in payrolls and holidays and work hours

as example the work hours changes on the month of ramdan so i want to made 6 hours for all employess during just this month

there is no real time chat support and that is not encourging to me to start buy for the service

What do you like best about Grove HR?

I can now easily track employees taking extra lunch time easily. We have kept one dedicated screen at the entrance for QR code which helps in clocking in and out time automatically.

Workflow and direct call feature from mobile app employee directory is good too.

What do you dislike about Grove HR?

If I could have third party integration with google drive or google sheets I can effectively manage local compliances for labour laws applicable. Also task allocation could have been added advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
