It is a web-based application that provides customizing dashboard when we integrate it with many other tools like elastic search, ELK, and Nagios.
Also helpful for live server monitoring.
Provides data in tables, maps, graphs, heatmaps and clock features in the dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We can not analyze data on grafana. If integration tools are not working correctly, grafana doesn't respond and shows api errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pretty customizable Dashboard design is very easy to change the type of tiles with the same data and is well integrated with InfluxDB.
Very Fast UI which works with lot of data with a consistent UI Experience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I felt that Monitoring Alerts, we had trouble in setting up multiple Threshold based alerts which something missed, expected very dynamic way of setting alerts without any limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The widgets option is enormous
and can be connected with a lot of datasources.
Can run on cheapest EC2
Good alert mechanism
Copy widget from board to board is a nice option
User management is good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Love all.
Nothing to dislike.
Meet all my requirements Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Grafana is our go to service and kind of single source of truth for all the live data dashboards as well as the custom dashboards that we have created by installing telegraf agent on the servers > moving the required data to influxDB > populating it in Grafana. Good thing about grafana is its capability to intake data from various dbs like influxDB, elasticsearch, airflow, logstash etc. Also, when it comes to dashboard styling, you get a lot of customizations for visualization like graph, gauge, heatmaps, alert list, pie chart etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Learning how to ingest data to grafana is difficult. It takes a fair amount of knowledge in devops monitoring for you to populate data in grafana. Once, data is populated, creating dashboards using the data is like a cakewalk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The monitoring is easy and simple; it easily integrates with your servers and fetches the metrics data. It has probably every data source for metrics fetching from your server Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dont think so which is dislike on grafana. it saved my life even trying so many monitoring tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Logs tracking, live tails, alerts, and graphs for the alerts.
Multiple dashboard setups, low-cost subscriptions, and integrations with the other apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not as such user friendly
Need to dig a lot for logs.
Multiple layers of answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Grafana dashboard is single source of all our reports that we look at to check the current status of multiple vendors , delays, shipment arrivals, departures etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Grafana UI sometimes lags and due to which the actual numbers do not get shown up at the report hence we need to restart the application from backend to remove the staleness which is quite discomforting at times and to do that we need to create a whole change process for the Grafana admin team. I like that there are sections I can access for specific information such as account search, wallet history, purchase history and I can also filter the dates and even the timezone Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that each section that can be accessed has to be accessed at a different window, I feel like it would be best if all these things can be accessed without opening a new tab each time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
