many thanks to Telma Rodrig I submitted a support ticket on January 29, 2025, around 2 or 3 am after my review was flagged for using AI tools. I explained that I rely on AI to ensure clarity in my reviews due to my dyslexia. To my surprise, when I checked my inbox, both tickets had been resolved and addressed incredibly quickly. This was the first time I’ve experienced such efficient support, and it truly impressed me. Based on this experience, I felt motivated to leave a positive review of this platform. One thing I feel is very important to highlight is the need for an option for users like myself, who have dyslexia and rely on AI tools for clarity. Without AI, my review process would be much more difficult and confusing. I suggest adding a feature that allows users to share a URL of their conversation when using AI tools to reformat their responses. This would help ensure accessibility for those who depend on AI for effective communication. Currently, there’s no option to provide such a link, and adding this would significantly improve the experience for users like me.

The idea of having verified reviews is excellent.

Maintaining certain standards and minimum requirements helps to establish trustworthiness.

Unfortunally, actual execution is really bad and customer service interactions are inappropriate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Reviews keep on being rejected for no obvious reason. Even elaborate information triggers the vague request to "elaborate more" on the use. That, while other existing reviews on the platform contain much less words.

Sometimes G2 even refuses to understand screenshot of complete license numbers and login information as "insufficient proof of actual use" which is inappropriate and even defamatory.

Sometimes I got rejected for the supposed "use of AI", which was absolutely not the case with my fully manually crafted and compiled reviews.

Certain input just keeps disappearing every time you check a review (select Facebook as to where you are using a social media management tool and it will not show after saving). Which means that the platform is not working reliably.

Unspecific answers and inability to provide specific help to which actual addition or change would be required to get a review released are not available, or only after an inappropriately long time and the use of offensive wording.

Next point is that provides a highly negative impression is that the references given on the platform are totally irrelevant. Look up any "alternative" for a software that you are familiar with - and be surprised how weird and random the selection of these suggestions will be. In most cases completely off topic suggestions. Categorization simply does not seem to exist or the way that options are allocation is lacking actual insight. What is especially scaring here is that such random behavior is pointing at incomplete algorithms managing the workflows without having a deeper understanding of what they are doing.

How can a good idea of a review platform turn out to be so terribly bad in execution?

And this is not only my opinion. When turining to social media you will find a lot of complaints of absolutely random arbitrariness shown by G2. I guess the biggest shortcoming is that there don't seem to be humans involved in managing the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We can find almost all the software in one place. Along with reviews and pricing and pros and cons. Software is available for service and industry. The discussion among professionals is very insightful.

I have learned so much about all types of software through G2. G2 has helped me to analyze the apps I use. I keenly look at each software and measure its efficiency for both personal and professional purposes.

G2 is one of the best market software. We are using it often to write and read review before using or buying any services. we are using G2 to make good decision for buying software. Also we can give reviews and earn rewards. In my workplace also all our collaegues earned rewards for giving rewards for the services we are using for HR and market. I like G2.com because its provides detailed analytics reports of softwares that helps my Organization to understand the value of the softwares we use. G2 was a very through review process for a business software that I use, I liked the details that they wanted to hear about and how it affects my job.

It was more personal than just a plain survey. I feel the data they collect and send to companies could be benefical and could make changes off of that information. When looking through reviews from other companies to start your planning process it was great to educate myself throughly and it was an asset in my research.
