Post-purchase experience has been really good. It's a product that could easily be something that you wouldn't know to use to its full potential, but Fresh Relevance really make sure you know what's possible and help you achieve that. They manage this with patient and fast-replying technical support and thorough and genuinely helpful account management (without being pushing a sales agenda, which makes such a big difference in terms of trusting their advice).
The product has tons of ability to fulfil lots of different marketing automation goals and allows you to grow into different parts of the product without having to pay for all features. 1. The interface can be somewhat complex to understand sometimes. This is clearly a product interface that has evolved over time and it may be time for a revolution and simplification of the UI!
2. The inclusions of features in each module can seem arbitrary.
3. Would be nice to see more statistical analysis for AB tests, removing the complexity for the user and giving a clear winner based on an appropriate statistical significance, similar to Google Optimize.
4. Would be good to see Fresh Relevance pull in open rate data from 3rd party email providers, like Mandrill to help make AB test decisions on subject lines
5. Without the support of Fresh Relevance, it's not always obvious what you can achieve and how to achieve it. Might be good to have timely prompts within the app to mention features you're missing out on and what they can do for you.
6. Would be nice to see the default blocks automatically pull in CSS styles from your own website to avoid the complexity of customising them.
7. Would be nice to see a route to implement a block server side and client side. Client side is infinitely less complex and quick to setup, but server side with an API allows for much more customisation and a better integration. The ability to show customers relevant products in real time has been really useful and it's really easy to add content into email builds. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. The support from Fresh Relevance has always been great, the support team work to fix any issues promptly and the organisation as a whole is helpful with training, upskilling and troubleshooting. We've worked with Fresh Relevance for just shy of 5 years now and we're delighted with the product. There personalisation options are endless both on and off site. Browser & basket abandonment email performance since using Fresh Relevance have strongly become our best converting acquisition channels for the business thanks to the tools within the Fresh Relevance platform, and its seamless integration with our ESP DotDigital makes things so much easier too!
The technical support team at Fresh Relevance are second to none, always willing to help with any issues you may have with very quick turn around times. Through multiple site re launches over the years the team have always been on hand before, during and after site launches to make sure the integration with the platform worked the same, if not better.

You have to come into Fresh Relevance with a good to decent knowledge of HTML/CSS/Jinja to use the product to its full potential from the off, as the templates avaibale can sometimes be a little limited and not quite what your business may need from their library. That being said once you have templates completed its then relativly straight forward to use and again the support team are always on hand to help with any issues. Fresh Relevance has been a game changer for us. When we started our journey with them 3 years ago, our conversion was low, due to trying to serve all customers with a universal experience and serving none of them well as a result.

Not a criticism of Fresh Relevance itself, but personalisation doesn't happen by magic. It takes time to imagine and build the different experiences that we want to serve different customers.

Having used Fresh Relevance at a previous company when we started having conversations about personalisation internally, I recommended Fresh Relevance. We are only just scratching the service with the capabilities of the platform but already we see a 32% increase in revenue on campaign emails versus not using Fresh Relevance. The flexibility of Fresh Relevance to inject and modify content on the site according to simple business and marketing rules. Whilst there are expensive and complicated CDP/CXPs on the market, Fresh Relevance accomplishes all of our needs with very little complicated setup or development required, and their support team are excellent in supporting us to make the most of the platform - it's rare you come across a SAS provider who want you to push the envelope of the product - but not only do they support it, but Fresh have actively encouraged us.
