We weren't sure about how to release our plugin on Freemius. It wasn't clear if release as an add-on to the free version and we ended up working it out. One issue is there is a general set of 'haters' in the Open Source community that think Freemius is evil. This needs to be worked on.

I like the fact that this platform allows you to sell digital products subscriptions under different plans. Automatically separate free and paid versions when you deploy the code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. The fact that 7% of fees they charge is on top of Payment gateway fees. So you end up paying a lot more than advertised.

2. Even basic reports are missing. Such as being able to see monthly revenue statistics in a specific period.

3. You are not able to customize emails. Forget about sending custom email campaigns to users.
