**What do you like best about Flamingo Resident Engagement Platform?**

What I like best about the Flamingo Resident Engagement Platform is being able to see resident engagement in real time when I send out polls or surveys for events. I am very numbers-oriented, so having access to live analytics and participation data helps me better understand what residents are interested in and how engaged they are. The UI/UX is extremely user-friendly and easy to navigate, making it very efficient to create posts, surveys, and events. I also appreciate the platform’s overall performance because everything runs smoothly and allows our team to communicate quickly with residents. Flamingo has helped improve resident engagement while saving our staff time, making it a great return on investment.

**What do you dislike about Flamingo Resident Engagement Platform?**

Honestly, I do not currently have any major complaints or improvement suggestions for Flamingo. The platform is very easy to use, and the onboarding process was simple from the start. The support experience has also been positive whenever assistance was needed. I appreciate that the system feels organized and intuitive, even for someone who may not be highly technical. The integrations and communication tools work seamlessly for what we need in student housing, and the platform’s performance has been reliable. I also like how Flamingo uses engagement insights and data intelligence to help us better understand resident participation and feedback trends.

**What problems is Flamingo Resident Engagement Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With our residents being mostly college students, it can sometimes be difficult to reach them by phone or get immediate responses through traditional communication methods. Flamingo solves that problem by allowing us to send surveys, polls, and announcements directly through a platform that is convenient and accessible for residents. This allows them to respond at the best time for them, which has significantly improved communication and response rates. The platform’s user-friendly design, strong performance, and engagement tracking tools make it easy for our team to collect feedback and make informed decisions. It has also benefited us by streamlining communication efforts, improving resident engagement, and providing valuable insights through real-time data and reporting, which creates strong value and ROI for our property.

**What do you like best about Flamingo Resident Engagement Platform?**

I find the Flamingo Resident Engagement Platform very intuitive, especially as someone who is not very tech-savvy. Its intuitive nature makes it easy for me to navigate and perform tasks without any frustration. I also appreciate the excellent, responsive customer service that Flamingo provides, which has been extremely helpful in addressing any issues I face promptly. Having direct contact with a representative like Ricardo, who has been super helpful and patient, reinforces this positive experience. The platform offers a quick and easy way to communicate with residents, which is much more efficient than using email that often gets lost in the shuffle. Additionally, I value the feature that allows for easy booking of reservations, simplifying the process significantly. The initial setup was facilitated greatly by Flamingo's provision of training sessions, which was very helpful in getting me started comfortably.

I love the monthly event suggestions, the site’s simplicity, and how easy it is to set up reminders and notifications.

I wish it were easier to upload files from our leasing portal, but I’m glad there are still ways to keep community engagement going. I also wish messages went out a bit faster when something is missed, and I’d really like an option to set limits on how much each event costs per person so we can plan and budget events more effectively.

I love how easy it is to set up an event. The platform is clear and very easy to use. The possibilities are labeled clearly, and its very simple to know what to expect and what events you are signing up for.

So far, I have not found anything I dislike about this event planning service. The prices are fair, the product is of great quality and the communication is easy and straightforward. I recommend this to everyone that works in property management.

I dont have time to plan significant events, especially at a one-person property. However, i also want to provide extraordinary Events, so this platform allows me to do minimal work and still provide a memorable experience.

I like that Flamingo offers a full suite of features through multiple product tiers.  This helps with budget management while also offering a quality product.  The tiers are well thought out, so you see the value at all levels.

The services section can be harder to use in smaller markets as it requires that service providers enroll and follow through.  If more communities in the market use Flamingo, I imagine additional service providers would be more inclined to register.

Flamingo offers a streamlined, well-branded onboarding experience for our tenants.  I especially appreciate that once our tenant moves in, the amenity reservation tools, community guide, and internal message boards have helped generate ancillary income, answer tenant questions, and help build community.

I love how the app allows my residents to communicate with each other and our team; our community would just be a building without neighbors engaging with each other how they do on Flamingo.

I think it's a great product! I wish that the services section had more options available in the Savannah area, but we are working to get vendors in touch and signed up!

Flamingo allows residents to vent amongst each other and allows us to show that we care and want to problem solve their issues without the issues making it to the public eye on a site like google or yelp. It also helps streamline the move in and move out process so that residents feel prepared and at ease that everything they need to complete is done and checked off.

Flamingo is an exceptional tool that positively affects all aspects of our business and I cannot recommend Flamingo enough!  Working with Joseph and Jude has been rewarding and I'm looking forward to a long-term partnership across our portfolio.  

From a resident perspective, the app increases community building and engagement. Flamingo empowers residents to find answers and solutions through the digital community guide. With this at their fingertips, it saves everyone time. 

From a management perspective, Flamingo gathers key insights that could not otherwise be known.  I appreciate the quality and quantity of feedback collected from resident surveys! We have received brutally honest feedback. As a result,  Flamingo has significantly influenced our building operations and management decisions.

**What do you dislike about Flamingo Resident Engagement Platform?**

No fault of Flamingo's, but there are pro's/con's of an uncensored community feed-- we don't want to monitor or have to approve every post with such a large building, yet rumors or misinformation can spread quickly otherside, so I wish there was a way for Flamingo to filter/monitor negative comments.

I was with my community when we rolled out the application for our residents. A lot has changed in those few short years, and for the best! The communication piece is my favorite part. From move-in emails to reminders about insurance, announcements can be posted by the community and residents. Makes communication seamless!

**What do you dislike about Flamingo Resident Engagement Platform?**

We have a lot of transfers onsite. Since they are already a resident, it shows they are still connected to the community, but we have to delete that account for them to be able to connect to their new home.

**What problems is Flamingo Resident Engagement Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication! Resident event announcements/calendar. Move-in emails and details. This saves so much time in sending one at a time emails when people are moving in. Also allows us to space them out so it's not so much information all at once. Having someone like Joseph Knaack, just an email or call away to ensure we use Flamingo to the best of our ability!

Flamingo has been most helpful with our resident engagement as being an all inclusive platform for our future resident correspondence, community updates and events and in assisting our office staff with maintaining documents and insurance.

Insight. Flamingo offers residents the ability to provide hassle-free feedback to management. The feedback is valuable and tells you precisely what is on the residents' minds so you can actively keep residents happy, and your property thriving.

Some automation features integrated with your property management software don't always account for the reality of property management workflow. For instance, renewal reminders go out to residents before they have offers prepared. This is something the property can control. However, finding a sweet spot where reminders go out at the perfect time is hard.

I love that it creates a strong community feeling for residents to meet each other, get to know one another or just overall feel more like a community and less like just another resident.

There's not much to dislike to be honest. One thing would be how residents use it. They can use it negatively and it takes some work to build up to creating the energy you want for your community. But that's not really something that is Flamingo's fault.

It consolidates the move in process, uploading documents, notifying residents, and just overall keeping up with the community and creating the energy desired for that feeling of real community.

The platform made it extremely easy to communicate with qualified and verified vendors that could accommodate all of our event needs, including entertainment, food and beverages.

My only dislike is my quote expired on their platform. However, i am in communication with the vendor directly now. I didn't realize there was a time limit to confirm the event on the platform.

The ability to find vetted, qualified, vendors that offer multiple services to accommodate our resident event is HUGE! If we didn't have Resident Flamingo i would still be interviewing vendors for components of our event!

The bulletin board has helped our residents communicate with each other and bring everyone closer. The events page is helpful to show all the things we have going on!

The concierge services section has been challenging. The residents want services but having reliable vendors has been hard.

Streamlining communication between management and residents and residents to residents. Helping management know issues at the property that residents report on the chat board. The events page helps us manage the large volume of events we have each week, and track RSVP and attendance.

It's extremely engaging for the residents and staff, the amount of customization that the app provides is really impressive.  We have a robust amenity package and are in tune with resident experience. it is their true focus

Every month/season Flamingo suggests new events to keep my resident engaged.  All I have to do is pick one.

The flyers provided for each even are helpful but don't offer much customization.

Flamingo allows me to recommend services such as TV hanging, movers, fitness trainers, housekeeping, and more from local vendors that Flamingo has screened.  So instead of just saying "No my maintenance team can not help you", I now have an alternative that I can offer.

It's SO easy and makes scheduling resident events so seamless. Something that would take hours, not only thinking of ideas but then sourcing everything, now takes minutes. The customer service is great and Jude stays personally involved.

Just a few issues with quality control but Jude responded immediately to resolve the issue and provide a solution.

If I must fill this box in with a "negative", I would say that Flamingo's estimated quotes usually differ greatly from the actual quotes that vendors provide.  I offer this up as merely a suggestion though as it is difficult to keep up-to-date with countless vendors across the United States.

Flamingo is relatively easy to use. Entering the number of guests, and budget, and choosing an event was simple and quick. I had selected a wine and charcuterie night for my first event and the chef got back to me within 24 hours, confirmed, and showed up on the day of the event ready to go.

**What do you dislike about Flamingo Resident Engagement Platform?**

The type of events and cost to do them for the number of people selected is a little on the expensive side. While Flamingo does take the planning and shopping out of the equation, when you're on a budget, sometimes it does make more sense to do everything myself if it means saving several hundred dollars.

I appreciate the whole concept. In particular, I love how they help fill the gap between idea and execution for event planning. Face time in front of residents is vital and they make it easier. You basically have a partner every step of the way.

Price would be the only objection. Depending the services needed, it can get pricey. While I understand the pricing structure, the budget is the budget at the end of the day. If planned accordingly, shouldn't be a huge deal.

Finding vendors for Resident Events can be difficult. Even more so, it is difficult to survey how the event went, Flamingo does this for you. They also pick vendors that are eager to work with you. Getting bids feels great and takes another piece of event planning out of your schedule.

The platform can have some limited options for events. But typically, we find something that fits what we want. Also, we could use seasonal selections further in advance. Say 90 days or more.

It is solving the resident event and resident retention-based items with crafted resident experiences. It also allows you to survey promptly to get a feel for how much value you have given residents by spending often a limited budget on events.

Flamingo is a multi-use potentially all-in-one tool for resident engagement, resident feedback, and communication. The platform "opens the door" to make your community a lifestyle and not just a place to live. Our account rep, Joseph, has also been instrumental in making my team's experience fun and exciting.

Flamingo has grown tremendously from when I first heard of it back in 2019. It is continuing to grow, so there are a few (very minor) technical fixes that are still being worked out. That being said the response time to get those things fixed is a few days at most.

Flamingo provides a lot of insight and feedback from residents that it may be hard to get face to face. They make the process easy for residents to provide feedback as well.

This is the best tool for resident communication. If something happens that affects everyone, we put a post and it instantly notifies the resident that there is an alert posted. This has helped tremendously when the water to the entire property gets shut off and the calls start coming in. We announce our resident events, use checklists for move-ins and renewals, and the residents love being able to talk to each other. It creates a sense of community!

It is worth it. It has offered so much to our residents and they seem to enjoy it very much!

With our very own app, our residents are able to access everything our property has to offer in one location. They were even able to link the app to our online resident portal so they can pay rent through there.
