I have not been using Fathom very long, but it has revolutionized my coaching practice. The emailed recaps are invaluable notes on each meeting and capture commitments, assignments, etc., and having the transcripts and recordings to refer back to is an added value. Implementing it was simple, and it's easy to use. I haven't needed customer support, but they have been proactive in reaching out to me if an issue has arisen. I use Fathom just about every day, and it integrates well with other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I want to record/take notes on other people's meetings I have registered for, Fathom cannot do that. I understand this is a known thing and is being worked on; I look forward to its being resolved.
I would like a built-in integration with One Note, where I keep my notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Where do I even start...?
Fathom is the best AI note taker I've ever tried. It's so easy to set up and use that I didn't need to read any user guides. It was literally plug and play. I love the option to record calls automatically or to manually record, and the fact that Fathom intergrates with all the platforms I need to use (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet).
The recording itself is so good. I love that the video is included and the transcipt is time stamped to the video. The auto generated summary and action points are amazing and have saved me so much time, as previously I would have typed these out myself.
Also love that fact I can share a link of the recording with others. This is very quick and easy and my customers have appreciated the recording. Several people I've shared my call notes with have actually started using Fathom themselves as a result.
I've recommended Fathom to so many people already. It's SUCH a good product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I don't like about Fathom Notetaker is how hard it is to find something to dislike! Seriously, it's so good. Saves tons of time, super easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fathom has completely transformed the way our team handles meetings. From automatic transcription to seamless highlight capture and instant summaries, it’s like having a super-efficient assistant working in the background—without any extra effort on our part.
The real-time note-taking is a lifesaver, especially during fast-paced discussions. I no longer worry about missing key points or action items. The ability to share highlights with team members or plug them directly into our CRM has cut down on follow-ups and drastically improved alignment.
Setup was a breeze, and the UI is clean, intuitive, and actually enjoyable to use. The AI summaries are surprisingly accurate and save me hours every week. Also, their support team is super responsive and genuinely helpful—huge props there.
If your work involves any kind of recurring meetings, interviews, client calls, or team syncs, Fathom is an absolute must-have. I can’t imagine going back to life without it.
Works with Meet, Teams and Zoom. Nowadays it's 99,99% of my meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, nothing major so far. If you don't trust, try it and you'll understand Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Fathom weekly at work and I would say the most useful thing I have found with Fathom is the summary. I can quickly find specific moments in the meeting that I need a note from or to watch a recap of the moment for context and I'm able to access it with just a click of the link. Another really useful feature is being able to send a copy of the meeting notes to other attendees so they have reminders of action items to compare with personal notes they've taken from the meeting. Last, but certainly not least, I like being able to highlight or bookmark moments to reference later for reflection when time allows. With all of this available, and this is just the tip of the iceberg, who wouldn't be drooling over it? Fathom is easily integrated with Microsoft Teams once it's installed, and since I use Teams at work, I can utilize the advantages and functionality of Fathom for all of my meetings. My productivity has increased and become more efficient since I began using Fathom. I haven't needed to contact Customer Support, but I receive emails periodically checking to see if everything went okay. I have been talking about Fathom to friends and colleagues every chance I get. This is one of the best tools to come around in a long time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot think of anything available in Fathom that I dislike. The only negative I found was Fathom is only available for integration with Zoom if you have a paid Pro Zoom account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fathom has been a revolution for our project meetings, meeting minutes and agile development processes. Its literally saved us hours and hours of arduous work capturing, sorting, editing, re-editing, re-re-editing meeting minutes as well as publishing meeting tasks and responsibilities post development scrums. The handy link feature that enables reviewers to go straight back to the part of the recorded meeting recording to view what was discussed is also unbelievably handy. Honestly, its an absolute God-send and one of the best applied uses of AI I have come across since the technology became more wide spread. I trialed many of the other AI note takes options out there to make a considered decision and Fathom came out tops in every respect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly? Not much. Its does what it needs to in a no fuss, easy to navigate and apply fashion. I had to tinker with the other AI tools I tried and Fathom just worked from the get-go Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
EVERYTHING! I love the recap the most, but the Takeaways and Next Steps are incredibly helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like the opportunity to opt out of sending the recording. There are times its and internal meeting and I just need follow up notes. Don't mind notifying I am recording but would like the ability to opt out. Also, with the advancement of voice recognition, there has to be a way to allow staff in conference rooms to speak their name or say a sentence and it identify them when speaking. I realized might be a fee for service but would be well worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’m a freelance AI consultant working with multiple clients, so I’m often in meetings where I need to stay fully engaged. Fathom’s been a huge help there. Knowing it’s recording everything—especially who’s responsible for what—lets me focus on the conversation instead of worrying about jotting down every detail. It’s a real confidence boost during calls.
Getting it set up was straightforward. It joins the meeting, handles the recording, and gives me what I need afterward without any hassle (action points are great). I’ve used other tools that promise a lot but come with steep learning curves or constant tweaking—not Fathom. It’s reliable and fits right into my workflow, which is critical when I’m managing different clients and tight schedules.
I use it for every call (it just pops up), and it never feels intrusive. Instead, it helps me stay present, catch things I might otherwise miss, and follow up more effectively.
The features are well-designed and keep improving, but it doesn’t try to do too much. It’s focused on being a dependable meeting tool, and it nails that. I wouldn’t want to go back to manual note-taking after this.
I haven't needed any help from customer support, so I guess that's a good thing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much at all really. It's very lightweight on PC resources, so it doesn't make it lag. Do just check if you want the summary to be sent out to all invitees, especially if someone was *supposed* to join, but didn't, and something might have been said about them...wouldn't want the AI to put that in the summary and mail it to them! This just works. I tried similar product before the AI era, but it's safe to say we're on another level now. Very feature complete (almost too many features). Simple and understandable privacy settings as well. Very responsive support. As a digital strategist I test a lot of products, but I am seriously impressed. For reference I need to test 2 more similar products; they will have a hard time to match this performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It doesn't work if you're not hosting the meeting yourself. This is also an issue for consent management. Furthermore the interface language mixes localized content, but English controls. No biggie, but worth mentioning. I also haven't succesfully automated meeting reports to Notion (yet) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used many other tools like Otter, FireFlies, but the ease of using Fathom, the exact AI transcription it gives and particularly one feature i love is, in my last meeting i was going on and repeating a similar stuff and it flagged i am giving a monologue which was perfect. So the interactions it has with us is amazing. And finally another point is at the end of the meeting, it gives us Action Items which helps us so much to just follow up with our team. Nothing major, maybe they can bring in more integrations like Action Items copy paste into Whatsapp, Slack etc or make it automated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've tried other AI summary tools and they're either cumbersome or intrusive on permission requests -- NOT Fathom. I was able to integrate Fathom in a few simple clicks and set the permissions to either manually record meetings (useful if you don't want to record everything), or automatically record every meeting and share with attendees. Currently, I'm using Fathom with every meeting we have on Zoom and Google Meet. Fathom has streamlined our meeting recap process with actionable insights -- seriously, it's dead simple and does what I need to to without unnecessary features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd love to see Fathom work beyond Zoom and Google Meet. Being able to record meetings on any platform would be really handy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
super practical. No more stress of taking notes during calls (Zoom, Meet, etc.), it takes care of everything: recording, transcription (really good, even in French!), and even a summary afterward.
It allows you to easily find who said what and the actions to take. I really like being able to 'tag' key moments live. It frees me up to really focus on the discussion and saves me a lot of time.
Finally, the fact that we can modify our summaries simply with a few instructions (prompt) is what sets Fathom apart from others on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes a bit rigid, does not allow adjusting the size of our logo, the "action items" are generated in English, even if the meeting is in French. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
