the smart scan option is a great resource. I find myself having to manually create the receipt when creating an expense. Limiting the number of errors with smart scan is my only complaint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm delighted with how well Expensify fits into my typical workflow. It's easy to use and intuitive, which means I won't spend time relearning it when administrators update the system or our company policies change. The automated task reminders to submit reporting information on time keep me organised while removing potential distractions from meeting deadlines. I dislike that Expensify does not track external 'attendees' and makes it difficult to link their receipts to the expenses incurred for them. It is a great tool when dealing with team members due to its automatic internal user population, but if there was an option to store contacts outside the company it would help streamline this process significantly. I love that it is easy for me to upload receipts for business travel and expenses from my phone and submit them for reimbursement. This makes it so much easier than keeping receipts and finding a scanner to scan them after traveling. With Expensify, I can upload receipts on the same day and submit them for approval. This has saved me much time and frustration when traveling for work. I no longer have to worry about misplacing a receipt or losing a parking ticket at the airport. Expensify is so easy to use; they make it super simple to add expenses, upload receipts and add them under the correct subjects. My favorite feature is being able to track my mileage by just adding the address for each stop and Expensify creates the expense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps automate the filling out of expenses. I usually upload a PDF of my costs, let Expensify do it's thing while I respond to an email, and then get back to review the expense. Rinse and repeat! It makes it easy for me to track the costs and load it without taking all the time these things usually do. I have yet to try their app but I don't need to load expenses consistently. The only thing I dislike about Expensify is that I have to ensure my expenses are attached to a report to send out. This step seems disconnected with the typical workflow of uploading expenses and would be better if Expensify could minimize the # of steps in order to get these submitted and reviewed.
