I was overseas for 5 weeks moving back and forth between two countries. Expensify was able to take my printed receipts and email receipts and put them into the proper categories and convert them to U.S. Dollars for me. The submission to my client was easy and all the data was there for accounts payable to reimburse me.

Their App!! I love the fact that I can quickly scan me reciepts directly from my phone. That way I never forget to add my expenses. I also like that you receive a notification when your expense has been approved or paid, it's a nice notification to get! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you submit an expense, you have two steps before it is fully sent out. 1- being the expense 2- the reporting. At first I didn't know and didn't understand why I wasn't getting reimbursed. Maybe that could be simplified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using this tool since 2016 and I haven't noticed any major dislikes yet. However, I think providing an expense chart (expense tracker) based on merchant (or) category will help employees/employers keep an eye on their key expenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What would be ever more helpful about Expensify is if there was a way to add additional user emails into 1 expensify account. For example, my LYFT is connected to my personal email so I have to forward receipt to my work email and then to the concierge email vs just 1 forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Expensify has a great UI interface and is very intuitive to use. I particularly like the funcitonality of taking a picture of a receipt and having it uploaded to my account. Doing your expenses is a pain, let's be honest. It is admin that takes time away from carrying out important work tasks. Expensify simplifies the process as much as possible to make it as pain free as possible. Being able to quickly log your expenses as they occur is big benefit, so you don't then have months of worth of expenses to log in one go.
