One of my favorite features is the smart scan. I just snap a picture of my receipt and Expensify autofills the receipt info so that all I have to do is add the account info. There are a great variety of options for expenses like entering mileage and the options are user friendly. I appreciate the co-pilot feature that lets me designate my admin to complete and submit expense reports on my behalf. When I make travel reservations, I can just forward the confirmation emails to Expensify and the information is auto-populated. There are several other features, but these are just a few that make my life easier, whether at my desk or on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I haven't encountered much that I don't like. I haven't yet found a way to easily integrate conference registration receipts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The automations make capturing and submitting work expenses so easy. I used to forgo expensing some of my business costs because dealing with the receipts and work involved was too cumbersome. My prior two companies used Expensify to track expenses and submit expense reports. You can use it on both mobile and your computer and the ability to snap a photo of my receipt real time during traveling on business makes keeping paper receipts hassle free. I can also use Expensify on my computer to finalize all my expenses and easily submit. Prior expense reporting methods were very outdated to saving all my paper receipts, scanning them on a copy machine, and uploading them one by one. This was outdated, time consuming and frustrating. In most cases, taking a photo of your receipt it should autofill the expense like the name of the merchant, date of expense, and the total cost. However, it doesn't automatically fill in and not a big deal, you just have to manually enter the info. But taking clear photos is key right when you get the receipt. The auto fill funtion should improve over time but could be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With Expensify I no longer have to carry receipts, paste them on larger sheets of paper and submit when bak in the office (or mail them and risk my reimbursement getting lost in the mail). After getting the receipt I shoot a picture with my phone, do a review of the data when back to my home or office, and hit submit via email. The PDF is compliant with IRS rules, and I'm done with expense reports. Note: I've used the free version of Expensify for 15 years, and it has become standard at out company for all travelers. With the free version, the only downside is automatic submission of reports on Sunday night. Many of my business trips are Sunday to Thursday, so I have to login and reopen my expense report on Mondays Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With past expenses, I have ended up losing receipts. And it was a hassle to keep track of all of them when on a business trip, only to either lose them, or find them crumbled up or unreadable after a time. With Expensify, It becomes so easy to scan my receipts AND it automatically fills in all of the required data for me, which saves me a ton of time and gives me a peace of mind. Now, I just pull out my phone, open the app, take a pic, and it does the rest!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There really are no negative things I can say about Expensify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the different programs they have were you can possibly earn points for cash like scanning your receipts. They really help you save. I highly recommend Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
