The custom roles can be hard to navigate at times, but with enough trial and error you will get the desired result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Product, Slow Sales"
4/5
What do you like best about Esper?

The MDM is brilliant, easy to integrate & manage, and the remote control feature is perfect for off-site environments. Once setup you don't really have to worry about it too much as it locks the devices down exactly how you want them and can send Geofence alerts when the device has been taken away from its designated workplace. What do you dislike about Esper?

I only require a few licences, but the 'Self-serve' feature enforces a minimum of 25 clients unless you contact support. However, after contacting support, they confirm that you are still required to purchase a minimum of 25 licences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Esper?

Ease of working.

UI is good.

Never seen any kind of bug. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Esper?

We should have the option to delete queued commands. I have seen like 15-20 commands are in queue due to which the deployment gets delayed. Neither we can delete those commands nor push a fresh one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of Use"
4/5
What do you like best about Esper?

It has been great using the platform to manage over 700 devices. It has been a game changer in our operations monitoring device use in some of the most remote areas in Nepal and Uganda. It is very easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Esper?

At the moment, there is a disconnect between the application usage information and the core system. it would be great to have a unified platform where you can access the device info and the data platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Esper delivers a great experience"
4/5
What do you like best about Esper?

We were evaluating several device management systems for growing business need. Among the final candidates, Esper beat all others in every single aspect in which we evaluated and were interested in. Apart from that, the platform is able to deliver the functionality providing a smooth and straightforward experience.

The setup process was reliably easy and migrating from the trial to the full product was very smooth.

There are two aspects that I'd like to highlight of the product's UX:

The Esper console is very intuitive and straight-forward. This is much appreciated and something we don't take for granted, as many of the alternatives that we tried were seriously playing on another level in this regard.

The Esper provisioning process is as stream-lined as it can be. This is critical, especially for large fleets of devices. Operative costs are greatly optimized when having as little set-up and maintenance as possible as Esper is able to deliver.

I'd strongly recommend Esper for use cases where you want to maintain a fleet of devices, either for internal or external use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Esper?

Esper provides a SDK API, which is interesting and appreciated. I'd welcome some of this functionality to be developed into the standard, SDK-less functionality that is able to be delivered with just configuration in the Esper console. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
