What I like best about Esper is how intuitive and powerful the platform is. It makes managing and updating a large fleet of devices straightforward and efficient, even for a small team. I especially appreciate the level of control it provides — from deploying apps and pushing updates to remotely troubleshooting issues in real time. The user interface is clean and easy to navigate, and their support team is always responsive and knowledgeable. It’s helped us streamline operations and improve the user experience for everyone relying on our devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I really appreciate Esper overall, one thing I dislike is that some advanced features can feel a bit complex to set up initially, especially for teams without dedicated IT support. The learning curve for certain functions — like setting up custom policies or advanced remote commands — can be a little steep. Also, occasional delays or glitches during large-scale updates can disrupt workflows. However, once you get familiar with the platform, these challenges become much more manageable, and the support team is always helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were looking for a way to simplify device management across a growing fleet, and Esper really stood out. It was surprisingly easy to deploy devices remotely, even for non-technical team members. I really like how clean and intuitive the dashboard is — everything from configuring settings to pushing updates feels straightforward. Being able to monitor device health and send updates remotely has saved us a lot of time and reduced headaches. It also integrates nicely with the tools we were already using, which made adoption quick and painless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there’s not much to dislike. If I had to pick something, I’d say that the first setup took a little longer than expected because there are a lot of customization options. It’s not difficult, but it does require some patience to really fine-tune policies to your needs. Also, I wish there were a few more advanced reporting features out of the box, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, small things compared to the time savings we gained. They seemed to make changes just for the sake of making changes. Geofence is not accurate. They had a free 100 device plan and decided out of nowhere to no longer honor that plan. I did not find the product worth the money Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They made it harder to use and changed the security settings which gave less control Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Getting the Play Store running requires a couple setup steps ahead of Provisioning to ensure that you're connected and able to use Play Store applications on your device.
1. Ensure you've enrolled your Esper tenant in the Google Play Store using an email address ending in "gmail.com". You can check out this great video here: https://vimeo.com/756927037
2. Approve the Play Store Apps you want available to upload to your devices, or allow your users to download if you've granted access to the Play Store. Here is a great guide on app approval: https://console-docs.esper.io/apps/approveapp.html
3. Select your Approved apps during the provisioning process!
