What do you like best about Ease?

Ease allows you to house enrollment information well. and is pretty streamlined for new hire elections. It allows employees to enter their data from a computer or smart phone and lets you know when they are complete. you can then pull fully created and signed forms from the system. Rather than dealing with scanned copies that can be hard to read. Medical rates are usually uploaded quickly and are available when you need them.

Ease is one of the better enrollment platforms out there, and has many guides to look through , though it may take some finessing to find what you are actually looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ease?

Ease often makes changes to their system and doesn't give a good heads up on the change or what it really entails. All of a sudden you try to do something and can't because there is a new update to the system, require something it didn't before, moving something to a new place, that you had no idea about. When you call in about the issue, you are usually added to an open ongoing ticket, but do not always receive a response it has been fixed, until you log in to check it out and it just works.

Ease has also begun charging for groups that do not use the connections to carriers, though at times these connections result in errors and you do not have control on confirming items before submission once connected. Ease contacts you for groups that you do not have connected, even if the group is not longer with a connected carrier and the plan is no longer active, which can be a little pesky when you are trying to get things done in a day. For basics this is great! As your situation may becomes more complex, you may need to play a bit to get it to work, but for the most part it can handle it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ease allows you to free up time with enrollment. You do not have to walk an employee/er through which boxes are required on a form or what they mean, since the forms populate for them once they add their information. You are able to keep benefit information with the enrollment options, so that employees can view summaries, carrier portals, explanation videos , etc. with just a click. you are able to actively show employees their costs incurred by their elections easily, since it does the math for you. I love the integrations Ease is continuing to work on improving and creating additional partnerships. The ability to completely eliminate paper for our agency and our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes it is difficult to navigate the system help desk and get all questions answered / resolved in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Ease:

Think about your target audience when choosing Ease, do they want a more relevant one stop shop? The payroll integrations are limited when wanting to use the Ease Onboarding with payroll from alternate vendors. Ease overall makes life much more simple and easier, would recommend!! What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?

Face to face meetings are not as necessary, quicker and more seamless open enrollment. Once enrollment is complete, the back end export and/or enrollment with new carriers is much more simplistic and easy to administer.

Faster ability to pull enrollment throughout the year to send for ancillary add-ons.

What do you like best about Ease?

Ease is plug and play and enables clients to work with capable brokers. I really appreciate their agnostic approach to serving clients. In the end, the customer gets a great tool without giving up the ability to pick the broker that serves them the best. Need more resources to compete with national employers, ease is the tool for you. Plans are quickly loaded and help expedite the renewal process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ease?

With the innovation of this technology we just wish more carriers were connected but time will tell how that comes around. I feel that telephone support has become a rarer way to reach them. They have a great training center but I feel phone support could be better. Wish the front end quoting would be available a solution that could show trend increases and contribution modeling then feed into the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ease?

Ease is pretty easy to use. Like all new programs, it may be a little intimidating or challenging in to learn. But Ease is quick to learn. After you load and enter your first group, you pretty much get the hang of it . It is easy to down load the enrollment forms to send to the carriers, easy to download the enrollment summaries to send to the employer for the payroll deductions. What do you dislike about Ease?

I would like to see a few software behaviors changed. First would be the "new hire progress" . There needs to be way to clear the names after you have processed them. I would like to see better tiered pricing. The just for the cost up to 1000 then it jumps to 5000. The price doubles for having 1001 employees listed. I am a small shop and I will never get passed 2000 but I am paying for the 3000 that i will never have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Paperless enrollment!! Yes it is paperless for the groups. the system can be setup for required fields so the days of chasing down SS# , phone numbers, email address are gone. I can submit perfectly complete and easy to ready applications to the carriers to process. What do you like best about Ease?

I enjoy the the rates and plan designs already in the system, very easy to build a plan in just a few minutes. They also have a quoting tool that can easily run a side by side comparison when you're with a client. Because of Dickerson Insurance Services (A General Agency) has partnered with ease for so long, we offer free online enrollment when you decide to work with us. We offer a lot more and there are no contracts, no exclusivity, no captivity, and you, the brokers, keep your clients, and 100% of your commission. ask us how 323-805-2915. What do you dislike about Ease?

Nothing to dislike, just some wish list items that I think would be good for the folks at ease to consider. perhaps a CRM capability, or having a way to sync with an existing CRM like ZOHO or Salesforce. I can go from quote, to presentation, to open enrollment, in a matter of 5 minutes. with everything going on right now, it's absolutely crucial to present, and enroll online. We are not able to meet with a large group of people in one room and hand out pieces of paper. besides, that takes too much time. We can now help brokers with the open enrollment presentation, and the employees can view, and enroll, from the comfort of their home, from their computer, or cell phone!
