ECP Pros and Cons

The support staff. When I call with a question they are very knowledgable and if they don't have the answer, they get me to someone who can help me. ECP just makes everything easier. It's literally saved us hundreds, if not thousands, of man hours over the years. Having all resident and employee information in one place is great. It always seemed to be lagging or very slow to load. Some of the DSPs working under me would not use because they said it ran slow.

It is integrated with our pharmacy which was great for new orders to be sent through into our MAR from them. But if I made changes to DC a med for example, that did not flow over back to them.

Some parts were not intuative- to submit refills you had to hit a button in one area and then finish submitting it in another area which did not make sense and the second part was often missed so the refill was not completed.
