  ### 1. Successful EMAR transition

**What do you like best about ECP?**

ECP is very user friendly for both staff,  administrators, and HR. Our implementation process had it's troubles but I recieved awesome support. Our implementation  Specialist, Nick Munden gave quick responses, had amazing attetion to detail, and really went above and beyond in several ways. We use ECP daily for all of our EMAR needs. ECP has tons of features that really allow you to customize it to fit your communites needs. When we switched to ECP getting everyone familiar to a new system took some training but overall the integration process was not too labor intensive. Our staff were able to catch on quickly to this.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

ECP could improve the bowel monitoring process. There is not really anything in place currently to be able to quickly see who has not had a BM in x amount of days. This would be a huge benfit to our staff and residents. Additionally a "911 quick print" button would be very helpful for emergency situations. This could allow staff to be able to print all needed info in one click of a button.

**What problems is ECP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ECP is a very quick, sleek and smooth EMAR system. Our previous EMAR was so slow and caused a significant amount of issues for many years.

**What do you like best about ECP?**

I have found the support representatives to be very responsive and in a timely manner. I do not find the help center to be very useful to me most of the time. When I send a question to the support reps, they have always done a great job in answering my questions. They also have good follow up in ensuring that I have all the answers I need. ECP also has many features that allow for the program to be a place to store most of our information on residents.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

ECP does offer many features, however some of them come at an extra cost. For a nonprofit as small as ours it is not cost effective to be able to utilize all of the features.

**What problems is ECP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ECP has made it easier to have all of our information in one place. That includes assessments, evacuation assessments, and the ability to work with pharmacies through ECP.

**What do you like best about ECP?**

The support staff. When I call with a question they are very knowledgable and if they don't have the answer, they get me to someone who can help me. We use ECP everyday and customer support is always there to help us. Most of it is quite easy to use, just learning more and more of the features.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

I wouldn't say I dislike anything, it's just always hard to learn something new. Our team has been slow to accept the implementation of ECP unfortunatley.

**What problems is ECP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are hoping to move away from using so much paper. Pen and paper is nice but the ease of using the computer is even better! I like having everyone in one place and setting which of our users can access what.

ECP is very user-friendly, and the trainers are extremely knowledgeable. The Support Staff is amazing and always gets me answers or helps me figure it out.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

The help files available are often not up to date. Although they have been working on that with webinars, and other types of training.

**What problems is ECP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ECP software is always evolving and ECP sends out announcements of what is new and what is improved. There are also training opportunities to familiarize yourself with new Features. One of the things they did was the ability to collect electronic signatures which streamlines our intake process and makes things much easier for our staff to have everything in place.

**What do you like best about ECP?**

ECP is exactly what we need for a growing assisted living and memory care.  The customer support has been consistantly the best I have ever used and ECP cares about our success as a company.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

There are no real downsides to using ECP.  Take the time to learn the program and the program will address all the needs.

**What problems is ECP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ECP allows for precise, and targeted and robust resident care.  ECP provides a wide array of options that can be modified to meet our needs.  Easy to access reports and history are two of the features I appreciate the most.

It is easy to find what you need, and if you need help, someone can help you pretty much right away.  It has a user-friendly platform that can be easily shown to team members.

I do not have any dislikes with ECP; everything has been going well.

Making documentation and charting as quick and easy, and thorough as possible. It is quick and easy for me to check in on residents in all my communities and keep track of our team members and their documentation and training.

**What do you like best about ECP?**

ECP just makes everything easier. It's literally saved us hundreds, if not thousands, of man hours over the years. Having all resident and employee information in one place is great. All the added features really set it apart. For instance, ECP has built-in continuing education courses that we can assign to employees. ECP is a must for any assisted living.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

There are a few little quirks within the software. I could get into specifics but I don't think it'd make sense to non-users. However, there are work arounds available. But overall I think the software does what it's supposed to and does it well.

**What problems is ECP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many. Mainly it's a time saver for us. But more than that it helps to reduce med errors, it can nearly replace the need to file things because everything is stored in the cloud, it makes keeping track of tasks easier, it's great for billing purposes, it really does nearly everything you'd need or want it to do. **What do you like best about ECP?**

Has all aspects of what our state requires and the documentation and ability to obtain any information at any time is invaluable.  No more paper files to store away for years.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

There is a LOT to learn and it's hard to learn every aspect for admins. but one call to ECP at no cost and the team can solve most anything.  If they can't right away, they find out and get back to you in a decent time frame.

**What problems is ECP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have very good support and we can get quick, easy answers to our questions.  They are always updating the system to make it more efficient and provide free training for anything new.  Remaining in complaince with our State Regulators is made quite easy with all the features ECP offers.

**What do you like best about ECP?**

Accurate documentation and scheduling of tasks. Easy for staff to use and I know that all tasks that are scheduled will be charted on.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

Nothing! It has everything we need to accurately document and schedule cares and tasks.

**What problems is ECP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greatly reduces the time I spend on scheduling tasks for the staff and making sure they get documented. Also the billing portion has helped me tremendously already!

**What do you like best about ECP?**

Seemed fairly easy to learn the basics and teach myself how to use most of it. The main functions were easy to use.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

It always seemed to be lagging or very slow to load. Some of the DSPs working under me would not use because they said it ran slow. 
It is integrated with our pharmacy which was great for new orders to be sent through into our MAR from them. But if I made changes to DC a med for example, that did not flow over back to them.
Some parts were not intuative- to submit refills you had to hit a button in one area and then finish submitting it in another area which did not make sense and the second part was often missed so the refill was not completed.
Seemed like it took too many clicks to get into anywhere- like a matrix or inception of too many windows.

**What problems is ECP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It functions as our eMAR which is much much better than using the paper MARs by a landslide. It allows me to see the documentation in real time at each group home while I am remote and make any changes to the MAR immediately that result from new physician orders.

We've been using ECP now for over a year.  I cannot explain enough how much it has changed our work flows.  Everything is so easy to use and intuitive.   The price point is reasonable and customer service is out of this world!

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

The phone app can be a little behind in updating but still very handy for charting.  I'm sure this is due to connectivity issues rather than the software/app itself

Our staff needed more accuracy and speed with documentation services and tasks.  We went from writing everything to computer documentation which gives staff better use of their time

ECP performs its functions There are workarounds for any minor quirks. The mobile app is usefulit use some improvement in terms of updating speed.

ECP solves the problem of software by prioritizing user friendliness and ease of learning. It offers assistance whenever needed. This positively impacts my business by reducing the time and effort.

Whenever I come across a problem theyre quick to assist and guide me through the steps to resolve it.

The support provided is helpful in solving these issues. Additionally, extensive training is required to avoid mistakes related to medication, treatment and documentation errors.

Things are explained very clearly when calling for support.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

The first call I made, I was on hold several minutes, then was transferred to leave a voicemail, after approximately 2 weeks, I called them back and was helped.

They were able to assist me with medication orders that when being new orders old orders were not dropping from the system as they should.

When working properly- little effort needed.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

Cost- charges to the pharmacy are way too high.  Plus installation fee is unnecessary.  Does not interface well and can never tell if it is actually running.

ECP is the interface between us and assisted living.  Benefiting us in transferring the eMAR.

The most helpful tool on ECP is the training tab. When I started working with ECP, I used the training tab frequently.

Wish there was a feature where you could separate Memory Care from Assisted and Independent Living.

The ECP helpline has helped me with pharmacy issues that needed to be corrected.

I like when the system gives me alerts when my staff are didn't do meds on time and less paper work

All in all, I enjoy the system. Its working well and right now I wouldn't change a thing.

Paper flow is less and if you need anything all you nee to do is pull it up in the system.

That DSP's can not access certain items and I have to come into work when changes are made because I can not access from my own computer at home.

ECP has training videos that can be assigned to all staff. These videos are very informative and help staff learn how ECP can be utilized properly.

That a fillable form cannot be created and assigned to employees individually.

ECP helps keep employees accountable for their work. This benefits me by allowing my focus to be on the residents.

I really do not dislike anything. ECP IS GREAT!

It provides me with an opportunity to document following DHS requirements. Also, a lot of features are customizable.

Being able to order medication right away, getting an answering machine.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

Not being able to make a shortcut on who needs to see notifications, you have to search for each staff involved, and this takes time.

I wasn't aware of any problems; I do like getting notifications when there an issue to be addressed.

"Oddities" that seem to pop up or community gets someone/something confused and if I can't figure it out ECP support is helpful

I dont have any particular grievances at this time, i feel like any issues i have had have been readily addressed and improved.

Try it, it blows other EHR's out of the water.

Working on creating physician notification within the EHR, particularly filling out missed medication forms etc.

When the program cannot do something or has a glitch, the support team takes the time to listen and understand and then either fixes the problem or updates the software to do what we need it to do.

Many bizarre glitches occur regularly. They are easy to resolve by refreshing but can be annoying at times.

The platform encompasses the vast majority of the tasks, care, and medication tracking that we perform.  A particularly nice feature is the summary screen where pictures of the residents can be added  with customizable icon to quicky indicate important information about that resident. We use them to indicate hospice, wander risk, diabetic, fall risk, etc.

ECP is easy to use, basically point and click, clearly labeled as to what options are. There is a perfect amount of help features, including customer service via web or phone. I can store all my information within ECP that I need. I can also access all of the homes within our company from one location.

The backup process is complex, not very easy to access. I am never sure if I have completed it correctly.

The most considerable resolve we experience was a reduction in medication errors from doing MARs on paper. The alert options also keep staff on track for when items are due. The other resolve has incident reports electronically to see patterns and frequency without digging through paper records.

ECP is built for Assisted Living. I love that it is a smaller company and when we need something I literally get a response in 2 minutes from someone. The platform is so easy to use I don't have to spend much time training any body.

**What do you dislike about ECP?**

Every time I find a downside I just email ECP and they fix it or walk me through a work around and get it on their list to resolve permanently. If they can't resolve it permanently they walk me through why and it's usually best for everyone.

I use ECP for assessments in every state, incident reports, investigations, med charting, care charting and everything. It gives us solutions to remain in compliance in each state in an easy, simple to use way.
