Duel has been a great way to help us at Katie Loxton build and engage a community of nearly 2,000 ambassadors across the UK & US. The platform allows us to interact and utalise our brand ambassador relationships, increasing our reach and brand awareness.
We love that we can work across multiple social media platforms, the output of UGC has also been amazing and we frequently use on our socials, email campaigns, and paid advertising. We are currently planning to add the UGC gallery feature to our website this season, and we can’t wait to see the results!
Our team uses Duel daily, and we’ve found it to be an easy adjustment to our day to day roles. The support we’ve received from the Duel team has been outstanding, from implementation and integration to tech queries, in-depth review meetings, and forward-thinking strategies. They are always there to assist us whenever we have any questions.
We recently held an in person event for some of our KL Icons and the response has been amazing, Katie has also mentioned how wonderful it was to meet the community IRL and we cant wait to build on these events and working more with our community in and out of the program! We recently partnered with Duel to launch a client's first ambassador program. We love the fact that Duel lets you own the relationship with your ambassadors and that it's platform-agnostic. It could be harder to explain the difference between Duel and any other UGC / content-creator tech provided, especially to senior clients who are not socially-savvy. It's a great way of managing a large content creator community, easy to set tasks, easy to grow our community and once set up easy to run. Customer Support is really helpful and get's back to you quickly. It's also a great revenue driver for the brand and is a great way to connect with creators in a scalable way. The analytics functions aren't as good as they could be, the gallery view only shows images, when most of the content we get is video, discount codes get leaked. Often technical issues that come about that are hard to solve, so then means we need to get in touch with customer support and it is quite a timely process when you have lots of ambassadors. Duel has an outstanding vision when it comes to brand advocacy. They go beyond focusing on the transactional value of repeat customers and aim to build lifelong brand advocates by delivering exactly what customers want, which is a program where fans can interact with the brand they love in a unique way. Their approach to emotionaly loyalty & community building is impressive, and their strategies for engaging communities and fans are highly effective, encouraging not only repeat business but also organic growth as customers refer their friends. The tool's lack of integration with Shopify was the main downside (which is something they're working on) - as well as the difficulty in proving emotional advocacy's $$$ worth to the business. For businesses that are highly revenue driven, it's harder to see an immediate big impact of a program that builds a community & true brand love. It's something that takes time to grow and should be deeply ingrained in the brand's vision and integrated with the customer journey. I love that it's a channel that connects our brand with our VIPs beyond a customer level, and the client support that comes with it is excellent. The launch of our US program was made very easy because of this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DUEL has been a fantastic plarform for us. It was easy to implement and has always been super easy to use, allowing us to get closer to the community and reward them for creating content with our products.
The team are incredibly helpful and keep in touch regularly to ensure we are using the platform to the best of its ability and answe any questions we have. They also help us on creating a programme that is tailored to the business' objectives, rather than us feeling like we need to fill a regimented plan they already have in place.

I would love to see more detailed reporting from DUEL around different territories. A lot of the current set up means if things weren't done initially, it can be time-consuming and more challenging to implement at a later date which is hard when business needs change. Duel is such an amazing platform for allowing brand communities to come together. The best thing about Duel for us is that we are able to not only spread brand awarness but create relationships with creators and general lovers of our brand. We are able to give back to our community and the work that they put into creating content for our ambassadors programme.Our brand executive Caitlin is incredible at guiding us through any issues we may come across and is always there to support us. Duel is an amazing platform as it has allowed us to access a huge bank of small creators who adore the brand and are willing to create content for us that the entire business can repurpose through all of our different channels.
The team are amazingly helpful, particularly Caitlin who has been a huge support.

There are very few downsides, perhaps looking at the way the video tasks are uploaded can be sometimes complicated for users as they have to compress their files in order to complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
