One of the most amazing things about DonorView is the level of prompt, useful support that is available. The team is always there to answer questions and help with issues - and that is greatly appreciated, especially when first getting started with the program! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything is great so far! There are sometimes a few issues with pages loading in a timely way - but most of the time it works very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost is right for an all-in-one. Three-year contract is required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
6-7 clicks to use. The auction and event module doesn't work as described. Donors have said they won't return to events if we use this interface again. We're stuck in this contract even after two years of using it and asking for better support. Program needs to be recoded - it takes 10 seconds to load a page. Program kicks out people who try to use it, doesn't show bids correctly. With the lag, donors would receive an email that they won an auction item when the program just hadn't completed the final bid. When I brought this to their attention, they said they couldn't verify the problem since they weren't there, even though I gave them name. If you call for support, you won't receive a call, even if you pay for it. You will get an email within 24 hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The overall composition of the data is a lot like a spreadsheet. Easy to use and then you just click where you want to go. It's like have a pre-made Salesforce instance without all of the setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Training is a little bit self-directed, however, you DO need to learn how to use the system. They have all the resources right there and the webinars are super helpful, but, it's hard to force yourself to learn when you are also busy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Donview has allowed us to keep better track of our donors, sponsors, and community members. The system not only alows us to keeps better tract of their financial support but also allows us to easly communicate with them what our orgization has going on. This is a system that our office uses everyday to enter and tract donations, note communications with donors, sponsors, and even board members. We are also able to keeps tract of emails and documents that may have been sent to them as well. DonorView is overall a one stop shop and allows you to do so much with one system. While the following statement is not a dislike... it was rather a lenthly process to get started with DonorView; however, the support we recived made the process better. Our organization used a number of differnt systems which we combined into one so there was alot of information to move and put into one system, but DonorView staff was able to work and provided us with a system that works for us. Donorview has the features we need to streamline our operations and database as well as handle memberships. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a learning curve as it isn't always user-friendly in set-up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DonorView is extremely user friendly. We switched to this software about 10 months ago. I have initiated several support tickets for help and have experienced nearly immediate responses that were always very helpful and gave me the exact steps I needed to accomplish the task I needed to complete. I wish the cost of this amazing software program could be a little bit more affordable for non-profit organizations like ours. We pay the fees because the product is worth the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am new to the product. I sent an email with an issue and within the hour I had an answer and my problem was solved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am still learning the product, so I do not know itsfull potential. It has been great so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DonorView manages my donors, through their CRM and event pages, and our donations. It easily integrates with Quickbooks so all our fundraising information is in one location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Just a slight wish list-I wish there was more ability to flexibly create donation/event pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Absolutely nothing. The demo was vey impressive, but the actual product is junk. It's clunky, complicated for the internal use, and the external donor. This latform actually casued us to lose donors. Their sales tactics are predatory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My organization has a robust donor membership program and hosts many events. We were looking for a more sophisticated CRM to serve our donor and administrative needs better. The Donorview demo was very impressive and we thought it would be a great solution. However we were very wrong. The platform is very clunky, unintuitive and much harder to navigate and manage than our former CRM that was 10% of the cost. Donorview offers a 2 week "trial period" to test out the software before you're locked in to a contract. However the implementation took more than FOUR MONTHS, so there was no real way to get a feel for the system without any of our data imported in to it. All the public facing forms, surveys, and donation pages are messy, complicated, and redundant. So much so that when we tried to actually launch the software, 6 months after signing the contract, we got endless complaints and actually lost donors. Donorview lures you into longterm contracts with better pricing (which is still expensive) and now less than a year into this deal, and less than two months since the finalization of the implementation, they will not release us from this five year deal under any circumstances. Our only option is to reduce the number of constituents in our database to get a lower annual rate. To do this we have delete each person one-by-one, each of which takes about 45-50 secs per person, because again the system is so clunky. Yes I timed it because there are more than 2,500 records to delete!! There's no option to bulk delete and when we reached out to support to delete all the records on their end, they wanted to charge us ANOTHER $200. So I'm going to spend 35 hours of my life deleting all the records because I REFUSE to give this rotten company one more dollar that I don't have to. Seriously folks, do NOT make the same mistake and sign any deal with this company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
