In our organization, we have been using an alternative, but the documentation was pretty sparse and hard to satisfy the features of standalone Knowledgebase. Document360 has some notable features that make Document360 stand out from other common help desk software. Backup & Restore capabilities, Document360 provides an automatic system back up every day. Users also have the option of taking a manual backup of the documentation. The user can back up their entire documentation (as zip file) and restore it from the system or manual back up any time. Also, Version Control with Document360 , you can either version the complete knowledge base (useful when you are working on deprecated features, new beta features, etc.) or you can version individual articles. So the biggest challenges with our helpdesk knowledge base was addressed well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though Document360 supports integrating with third-party ticketing, chat, feedback and notification platform. However, it seems to be limited. They need more integration with other apps to obtain full satisfaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Document360 is a SaaS based online portal for building a solid knowledge base for the type of business you are in to. What interest me the most is the neat and clear user interface to navigate and build projects within the dashboard. Nothing to dislike, but a good feature to have is "Shortcuts explained" there are quite a few short cuts within in the portal which is not clear how. We are all used to ctl C ctl V, similarly the portal offer multiple shortcuts which needs to be clearly shown as tips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to have real version control on documentation is fantastic. My team was already familiar with Markdown and GIT, so this was an easy transition. I also appreciate new features are added on a monthly basis.

The UI is very simple - we can incorporate all our articles under the proper categories and sub categories which is very simple and clean.
The customer service is great.
It has a great built in organizational capabilities.

Article reminder and future scheduling feature allows you to schedule your article on a precise date and time without being in front of the computer. Versioning control feature allows you to look back to the changes on previous version and allows you to restore to a version you require if you or your team accidentally made some changes.
