I love how easy it is to get up and running with the solution. I also like the tools it has to ensure you are able to manage the updates and revisions of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have many dislikes at this time. I really appreciate how quickly the Doc360 team builds enhancements. There is a disconnect for me with how we can use the enhancements based on how we use the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can import Word documents. Since most of our existing documentation is in Word, it saved a great deal of time to simply import them instead of recreating from scratch.
Also I like how intuitive the product is. What little I did not figure out for myself, I was able to find in their documentation.

Just some minor things, nothing that I'd call a show-stopper. I cannot insert an article in a location of my choosing. I have to create it, then relocate it in a separate step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Knowledge Management is the new frontier for customer education and help desk deflection. Document 360 gives you a no/low code solution to quickly get a footing in the space so you can connect your customers with what they need. We use it for both external and internal knowledge management. Sophisticated permissions allow you to tailor views so individuals see what they need. Rich text editing allows you to produce beautiful articles with multimedia embedded (videos, animated GIFs etc) to engage your reader and hopefully keep their attention throughout the article. I also like how it automatically generates a table of contents to make navigation easy for readers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, D360 is the best vendor I've found for knowledge base software. A lot of help desks have a super basic knowledge base incorporated (*cough, *cough, Zendesk *cough) but D360 runs circles around other platforms with their intuitive architecture and easy-to-use admin interface. Multilingual support....tech support chat....lots to love. They also let admins contribute ideas to their product roadmap - not that they all get chosen but it feels like they listen to their users when planning the future of the product. - Home page builder
- HTML code view with custom CSS and javascript capabilities.
- Import, Saved templates, variables, and snippets for easy migration and content reuse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Analytics cannot be looked back after a specific time period( Need to upgrade the plan)
- SimpleText, Image, and Table formatting is really hard

The best feature, by far, has been the ability to upload a Word document to create an article. If the Word doc is properly formatted with heading Document 360 has the option to parse out each section as its own "step"/article. Authoring time is significantly reduced. It took me a little bit of time to understand how to create the Home Page--it was my error because Document 360 made a very clear Category with directions and examples to build from. There have been time, I wish there were some FAQs to read for creating the custom site. I did find the tutorials helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a decent platform for creating simple FAQ pages. We are an E-commerce company, we have multiple queries that our support team is tired of handling. So we needed to set up a good FAQ page with custom domain. We found Document360 to be very flexible, simple and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't see any drawbacks. I am sure certain features will be lacking when I work with the tool more, but I am confident and can tell that their crew is extremely product customer-responsive which is critical for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The documentation tool is easy to use, it has an excellent support team and many functionalities.
Some of the features that I appreciate the most are:
- Groups based permissions so different types of users see different articles
- SSO
- Documentation assistant embedded in your own webpage
- Mixed documentation (private, public & mixed)

If I had to say something, I would like to have different documentation assistants based on the user permissions.
It would also be great to have different ways to display the search results to the user (not just the default one).

My team found Document360 easy to use and explain to each other. The platform and the WYSIWYG mode is very useful and makes it easy for non-technical members of the team. The option to restrict viewers based on groups is also a handy feature so that we can use our Knowledge base as an internal and client-facing resource simultaneously. It is very difficult to answer this in limited words. This tool is excellent, user friendly and we were amazed by the detailed analytical report provided by the tool. Easy accessible and powerful customizing screens and menu bars, very easy import and export options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
