My favorite part about the DocStar ECM system is that it combines powerful workflow capabilities with the ability to accurately and securely store documents for long and short term retention requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's hard to find a piece of the software that I dislike, but if I had to nitpick I would say my least favorite piece is the OCR portion. It is however growing to become more and more accurate over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer service lack of knowledge. They more so gather information for other tiers than troubleshoot issues. Had to wait for them to chat with a higher tier tech for them to tell me what they had to do. Frustrating, but now we have a direct contact to a Sr tech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DocStar isn't intuitive to use. When there is an issue with using the platform, it is easier to create a work around than to get the help desk or project manager involved to get it fixed. Normally, a bug causes great delay in our productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
