IGNIO is, and has been, always, very stable for technical point of view.
But, in addition, once once Ignio was migrated to SAAS, we have improved the situation that we had in the past, that in high frequency we had to manage non regression testing because patches or updates on the platform. Now, those technical elements are transparent for us, excepting Proxy servers, but it is minimal.
In addition to this good new about technical stability and the fact that it is transparent for us, the way that the this year project of the Ignio version upgrade was managed, it was much better. The digitate management for this project has improved a lot comparing with SAAS migration.
It is important to highligh the very good performance by Rahi (supported by the rest of the team) in any element related to Ignio.
This point is very important because we want to focuss our efforts in the delivery of new use cases and to provide beneficts to our Business, so all the time we can save in technical elements, we can dedicate our efforts to Business benefict
The support for Digitate/IGNIO product team for any technical question or challenge, is correct and appreciated
The flexibility and positive attitude of the Digitate / Ignio team is kept and appreciated. The quailty of the deliverables by Digitate team, use cases, remains beign good and no major issue on them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The list of things have to be improved, on Digitate side, has decreased a lot, what means that Digitate performance is much better, including the way to manage the upgrede projects.
Things to be improved:
- Report/document to achieved business benefict per year and from the begining of implentation of Ignio vs situation without Ignio
- Resources management. Obviously we with the best for Yamin, but when this kind of situations happens, and one resource is off in the long term, it is necessary that Digitate takes care, look for alternatives, new candidates, etc in order to avoid major impact in the service.
In addition, we are very happy with Rahi, but the fact to have a second person would allow to reduce the dependency on Rahi also (for holidays, or because illness, etc).
- The capactity of derlivery of new use cases (knowing that part of the job in on TCS hands) should be increased (I think that with second resource joining, this element will improve)
- The experience with other customers should be shared, in order to get beneficts or experiences with them, that can be usefull for EMEA Holcim needs
- For example, when we talked about automatitation of incidents (no requests) it would be very usefull to have visibility on experiences with other customers (achievements, challenges, difilcuties, concepts etc) I mean, to avoid the feeling that the topic is started from scratch, when I am sure that the same topic was managed for other customers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Capability to automate the BAU tasks
- OOTB available features and capability of customizations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Time for the implementations
- Lack of process to build future pipeline for automations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had limited interaction with the TCS automation team as the Business Process Owner but Ignio was able to automate large parts our user access request process. A time consuming part was automating the training verification process (connecting to our LMS), to creation of application user accounts as well as reactivation and deactivation of accounts.
Ignio was able to save a lot of time not only for the System Owner, Business Process Owner and TCS support by removing the human interaction for some of these tidious tasks. The Ignio support was also very responsive when issues were found during testing and production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The TCS team implemented the automation and I as a Business Process Owner was not exposed to any of the technical complexities; however the implementation seemed to have gone well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ignio is helping us to automate large parts of a user access requests. Basically from automating the the training verification process, to creation of application user accounts as well as reactivation and deactivation of accounts.
We've worked closely with the TCS automation team, who took us through the whole process by explaining every step and suggesting best or better approaches. The team listened very well to our needs and helped very well to enable a solid and stable implementation of our requirements. Ignio easily integrated with the application we're using and addtional use cases are currently being pursued. Support during the operational phase is very good and helpful. Given that our TCS team executed the implementation of Ignio, we've not been exposed to Ignio directly. However, this isn't necessarily something to dislike because we've not had the need to go into the technical side and associated complexities. Although I generally see that as a good approach, my curiosity of what else Ignio is capable of is still existing and not yet 'quenched' :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Digitate Professional Services performed an in depth analysis to determine where our greatest needs were for automation and worked to onboard those use cases in the initial onboarding of ignio. This provided value quickly while they also trained our personell to use the product.
ignio is highly custonizable. We have had several use cases that were unique to our environment and Digitate worked with us to provide a custom solution Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support hours were not ideal for Western Hemisphere clients. Digitate has addressed that issue and there is more support available than previously.
I would also like more complete documentation for the product especially a more comprehensive development guide for studio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The automation capabilities significantly enhance efficiency by streamlining user access management processes. The reduction in MTTR is particularly noteworthy, as it reflects ignio's ability to swiftly address access issues, thereby minimizing downtime and enhancing overall productivity. Additionally, ignio's adaptability to specific organizational needs is commendable, as it allows for customizable solutions tailored to our unique requirements.
Looking forward to see AI, ML and predictive model as part of new capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall, Ignio has a proven to be valueable asset in efforts to automation, predictive analysis etc. The implementaion part is taking longer and impacted the deliverables by delivery management but it has been improved significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ignio is very effective solution in terms of functionalities, Event management features, user friendly for the developers to develop and integrate the components.
Resources are very helpful and had a great knowledge to resolve issues during testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Helpful if product documentation made widely available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Replaced an outdated monitoring solution with ignio that allows us to expand on our capabilities
2. Implemented AIOps automation tools to triage CPU/Memory/File System incidents to reduce manual efforts and improve MTTR
3. Implemented AIOps automation tools with ServiceNOW integration to send reminder notifications for change implementation and problem ticket owners
4. Ongoing engagement from the team and continuous identification of improvement opportunities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Early on we had delays on wintel server deployments (specific to a group of our servers that have high logging events) due to product issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The team is always willing to go the extra mile to try and make things work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It feels like everything has to be a customization, fairly simple event management and observability tasks seem to take weeks of development work.
Out of the box it is not straightforward to setup Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
