What do you like best about Design Pickle?

Design Pickle has been a game-changer for my business. The turnaround time is quick, and the quality of the designs is consistently high. I love that I can submit multiple requests at once and receive drafts back within a few days. The platform is user-friendly, and the communication with the designers is seamless. It’s also a huge plus that they offer unlimited revisions, ensuring that the final product aligns perfectly with my vision. Design Pickle has definitely streamlined my design process, saving me time and allowing me to focus more on other aspects of my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Design Pickle?

While Design Pickle offers great convenience, there are a few areas where it falls short. The biggest downside is the lack of direct access to the designers, which can sometimes make communication feel impersonal. Additionally, the subscription model might not be cost-effective for businesses with only occasional design needs, as you pay a flat fee regardless of how much you use the service. Lastly, the design styles can feel a bit generic at times, and it may take a few revisions to get the design exactly right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Design Pickle?

They respond to text messages. I do not like anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Design Pickle?

The interface, the exhaustive constant barrage of messages basically telling you to do it yourself. The refund policy is ludicrous. The design was awful. The amount of excess crap you need to doeload to function. The exorbitant time to do simple task. The list is endless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Design Pickle?

Easy to log in and start. Creating design projects were also simple to do. Designers were responsive. This helped me to confirm that good quality designs cost more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Design Pickle?

Poor design quality. Poor collaboration. Several of my team's projects were finished with in-house resources or sent to another designer. We raised concerns with the support team, and even worked through an escalation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Design Pickle?

The best aspect of DesignPickle is the speed and consistency of the work produced. The designers are generally very adept at following guidelines and producing designs that meet our specifications, which helps streamline our marketing processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Design Pickle?

While the service is generally reliable, there is sometimes a noticeable lack of creativity. The designs often feel templated rather than original, which can be limiting when we're looking to introduce fresh and innovative visual concepts in our campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Design Pickle?

Design Pickle is great because you are able to submit multiple projects and get assigned different graphic designers. I really enjoy that you are able to request different formats for your final files including Canva. This is especially nice for team members who are not familiar with Adobe applications (Photoshop/Illustrator). It has been a great resource to request different types of projects including print ads, social media posts, and even social media reels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Design Pickle?

The biggest con of Design Pickle is their high cost for membership. It is pretty expensive and requires a large budget. Even though we had great success with Design Pickle projects, we could not justify certain costs and had to downgrade our subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Design Pickle?

Design Pickle has a one-day turnaround, which is better than even some of our freelancers. The interface is easy to use and allows us to pinpoint exactly what needs to be changed without things getting lost in communication. The amount of work I can get accomplished each month by Design Pickle would blow out my annual budget if I had to tap into a freelancer each and every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Design Pickle?

The only thing I would like is if we could speak over the phone. Sometimes, it's hard to articulate what you're looking for via text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Caiden Laubach of Design Pickle

Thank you so much for your feedback! We're so glad you've been part of our Jar for over 2 years and are looking forward to celebrating many more with you and your team!

Quick tip for team members who prefer to communicate design direction verbally - feel free to send a screen recording with you talking through the brief/directions with a program like Loom. It's a great way to show and tell exactly what you want and attach it to the brief for additional clarity.
