I find the unlimited request model genuinely valuable for our small nonprofit newsroom. It gives us on-demand access to design support, simplifying our workflow, especially during high-output periods like producing event collateral and reports. The ability to outsource our design work saves us time and staff costs. The on-demand portal where we can craft briefs and submit them is really great, making the process easier. I also appreciate when designers pay attention and get it right with minimal revision rounds, as it saves time and effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Revisions don't always hit the mark on the first round. If you have strong creative direction or a specific visual identity, expect to go back and forth a bit. It would be much better if Penji had designers that stayed with you and went through more rigorous quality control. Sometimes, they're great. Other times, they miss the mark completely. Nothing is more exhausting than spending three or four days back and forth trying to communicate what we do, how they should be working within our brand, and the creativity of a designer shouldn't have to be pulled out by the client.
