Honestly, there’s not much to dislike—it’s a solid tool. If I had to pick something, I’d say it would be nice to have more flexibility to tweak reports or insights to match our specific industry needs. Crystal was recommeded to me by a colleague recently and I was sceptical but as soon as I tried it, I was amazed. The content is well designed and the tool works all the times I have tried it (5x now). The chrome plugin is a game changer. I almost think that this is a secret weapon that others have been using to get maximum impact from their interactions....and that is why I have not heard about it widely. I REALLY like having something to go on for both new connections and exisiting relationships. Any time I am sending an email not a text or LinkedIn message instead of a phone call I think about what will actually get a response and how can I write a truly caring message. I am absolutely amazed at how accurately Crystal predicts personalities! The level of precision in its analysis left me genuinely surprised. Even though I do not post regularly on LinkedIn the App was spot-on in predicting my own personality, energizers, drainers and ways to approach me.

While I am impressed with Crystal's accuracy and ease of use, there are a few areas where the app could improve. One downside is that the DISC personality analysis is not explained in much detail. I love how Crystal helps me understand the character of my LinkedIn contacts before I get to meet them. Aside from that I have found it very easy to use, very simple to install, implement and integrate into LinkedIn. So easy I haven't required any customer support.

Crystal gives you an sense about how it will be to communicate with a person. Actually I used Crystal before going to a job interview and hey; I got the job. I don´t like that they only offer one year subscription. They used to offer a monthly subscription so that's why I purchased it privately although it was expensive. The Google extension and how quickly it provides the DISC plus the "to the point" communication tips, especially those that dynamically change with selectors, is simply priceless.
