The initial mapping view for new partners is great.

The fee structure around downloading records. The only way around it is to purchase the top tier access license, which isn't something many of us in building mode can get approval. The limitations make it much harder to work in the system.

It's more widely adopted so that's why I use it. It allows me to quickly access fit during initial evaluation.

The only downside is that we don’t have full access to the entire partner organization’s install base—only to a select portion.

It’s the easiest way to map accounts with partners and quickly identify which accounts to prioritize.

I don’t like the new account mapping feature. I don’t find it very helpful, since on the partner’s side you can’t filter by owner or the owner’s manager.

It helps me identify which AEs I should work with most on specific accounts, and quickly spot any overlap between us and our partners.

There isn’t anything in particular that I dislike. If I had to point to one thing, it would be the contacts bar: it shows all contacts for all partners, rather than only the relevant ones for each partner.

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

There's so much I like about Crossbeam and it's ease of use, but its foundational account mapping feature by way of a really simple CRM connection is invaluable. It not only makes it really easy to identify which partner(s) to collaborate with during a sales cycle, but also simplifies partner evaluation, identifying beta customer for a new integration, or spotting co-marketing opps and more. 

I also absolutely love the innovation around Crossbeam for Sales. The Chrome extension is one of my favorite features and makes ecosystem discovery super easy and delivers insights to sales teams where they are working in a very clear, actionable way.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Very few dislikes! One or two minor things like being able to rename default populations or a bit more flexibility with CRM customizations.  I also think it cold be helpful to share partner contacts at a connected partner (to help as people make moves and teams grow).

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam creates visibility into and impact of a partnerships strategy across the entire lifecycle of customer.  More specifically, Crossbeam:

- Eliminates a lot of manual work and guesswork of identifying the right partners to engage in a deal cycle, but instead allows the team to uncover partner opportunities with much more efficiency, reliability, and proactivity. 
- Provides actual data to develop a business case to build a partnership.
- Removes bottlenecks with regard to ensuring sales teams have ecosystem information.
- Offers clear insights to highlight the value of a partner strategy and specific ecosystem partners.
- Makes my job a lot easier!

I like how it is to use, we connected to our Salesforce and so all of our BU's have easy access to see what partners are overlapping in accounts and reach out proactivel.

I'd like to see more use cases that others have used Crossbeam for but really don't have many dislikes, support is great, the product is easy to use, and it's easy to integrate into our other tools.

Ease of use.  Ease of linking to other partners and finding data.  Report creation.  There are so many things "easy" about Crossbeam that is has become a critical element in our Technology/Integration partner evaluation.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Recently Crossbeam has been changing elements from free to subscription without notification other than pop up in UI.  Frustrating, especially in December when it's the end of the sales year for most and getting last-minute deals closed. 

Also, I wish when a partner invite is sent, the person's role within the organization was included; is the invite a corporate initiative or simply an AE looking for data?

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a straightforward way to evaluate Technology Partners for the value they have in the market.  Could we leverage common customers to solution build an integration? Would we have adopters of the integration?  And could we securely answer these questions?  Before Crossbeam we would send Excel spreadsheets back and forth or review over conference calls.

Ability to see insight into where partners are engaged and how their pipeline is developing. Having early/first hand on if a partner is talking to your client is so key to ensure you can stay strategic and in the drivers seat with your clients.

I find sometimes that its not always easy to navigate or labeled well. After using it, you learn but the labeling and naming could be clearer.

I love how easy it is to build into our existing systems and processes once we get it all implemented. I also loved the support team at Crossbeam. They are responsive, always helpful, and always pleasant. I would absolutely recommend Crossbeam to a friend or colleague.

I dislike that I am limited in the types of fields I can add to Crossbeam. Depending on the type of partnership, sometimes we want to share some strange data. I think Crossbeam would be best if it were more of a data sandbox, where once we make a valid connection via the URL or whatever else is used to match, we can do whatever we want with the data we share / use. That would be INCREDIBLE.

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

I really appreciate Crossbeam because it connects smoothly with our CRM and quickly shows us important overlaps with our partners. It’s like having a radar that reveals hidden revenue opportunities. The interface is super easy to use, and the matching logic is spot on; we've discovered warm introductions that we might have missed otherwise. Plus, Crossbeam makes our work more efficient by giving us partner-sourced leads and clearing up the usual confusion around account ownership. It’s definitely been a game-changer for us.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Onboarding non-technical partners has been our biggest challenge. Crossbeam is awesome for teams that already have tidy CRM data and some operations know-how, but it can be a bit much for those without a RevOps person on board. Plus, the jargon can be a bit confusing—having a glossary or some helpful tooltips would really make things easier for users who are new to this stuff.

Reveal has been really great to work with.  We are both users of their platform, and have plugged their platform into our own technology.  It's been quite useful to map the features across our ecosystems and evaluate how our partners can align to our sales process.  I feel quite comfortable working with them, and their team has been extremely good supporting our head of partnerships.  They've been easy for him to use, their integration was straightforward, and we've gotten to a point where we're using the platform quite frequently.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Can't think of any.  I do belive that the comparable platforms in this area all seem to service slightly different segments of the partnerships arena.  In looking at where each shines, I feel like Reveal is the most well rounded.  I bring up their potential in a conversation with my own contacts almost weekly and haven't seen an area where they fall short.

We are a partner ecosystem platform ourselves that provide partners with the ability to manage their engagements with vendors at scale.  Reveal plugs right in and gives a view of potential sales that is quite difficult to get from the other features in the platform. Reveal is an easy-to-use tool that has helped us to uncover untapped revenue potential. It has helped us to evaluate our partner ecosystem based on the data it surfaces in the platform, to see who has the most overlaps, but also the most potential for new business for our organization based on the partners we attach with most often. 

-It helps in fueling our marketing, from which partners to co-market with, building out target lists for our campaigns and deciding on messaging. 
-Our Sales team finds it really helpful as well in understanding the partners that are in each of their accounts, in order to tailor their message and to solicit intel and introductions from those partners. 
-Lastly, It is also is exceptionally helpful in organizing the prospects and deals we have in flight with each partner, in one place, that is consistently up to date (versus keeping multiple g-sheets!). 

We do so much now daiily with the data from Reveal across our business that it has definitely become a must-have for us!

This might be catered more towards on company but record limits. Also, sometimes I see retailers are clients of partners via tools like Built With and Wappalyzer that don't show in CB.

I love the overall grid that appears for each connected partner. It makes it easy to tell at a glance if a partnership makes sense - or not. The level of customer support they offer is also terrific!

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

I understand the terminology of "populations" but most everyone else refers to them as lists. Any time I've helped a new partner get up and running, I first start with the translation. Not a huge issue, but minimizing the unique nomenclature could be helpful for new customers.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Life was pretty miserable before finding Crossbeam a few years (and jobs) ago. It was basically spreadsheet hell, especially if either partner had long lists of customers or prospects. The time saved by using Crossbeam is easily calculated - what takes a minute (surfacing all the overlaps) in Crossbeam used to take an hour per partner, if not longer. I generally try to take a quick peek prior to my calls with partners.
