Good planning Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use, simplified, and few errors in uplaoding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Live preview, which we are told by ContentStack team is available and should be accessible so long as we ask our administrator, we did that and it has been with IT for months, it is not available or accessible to us although it is a released feature that should be accessible. Not bad platform, but seems limited compared to many other website build tools that are more modern and customizable. Such as limited on image sizing on webapge, and cant put a full length image but only place an image and text split. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like being able to define the different content models and fill the entries.
The versioning feature also looks interesting to me. Supporting differnet locale out of the box helps us to support localization.
We are using the GraphQL endpoint and we love it. Integrating the endpoint was so easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are trying to use the Webhook feature but the documentation isn't that much rich. For example this doucment (https://www.contentstack.com/docs/developers/set-up-webhooks/webhook-events) doesn't really explains what is the body of events and what we should expect from each events. We have to test every event by ourselve and create a documentation on our own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that Contentstack is a customizable platform backed by a team of knowledgeable engineers who can help you through any solutions you want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's hard to see future architectural problems (API limitations, for example) when you first step into Contentstack. If you don't get the starting architecture right, it could spell scalability problems, so be sure to put a lot of thought into how you scale the platform and confirm that the action plan would work. It's a headless CMS. Giving us the power to develop and structure as we see fit for our enterprise. It's simple to use with excellent documentation. Integration is no challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the UI could be improved. For example, the Entries would benefit from a hierarchy structure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ease of use and the UI design. The workflow is simple and the fast, it improves my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not sure I have dislikes, possibly the seperaton of modules and having to need to publish the page vs individual components. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is user-friendly, the order in which you work is logical and simple. uploading images is easy, and even takes care of inclusivity, with giving images a correct title for screenreader users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
it creates big white spaces between the different features are not very esthetically pleasing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it has been compared to the CSM my company has used in the past and I absolutely love the support staff and how helpful they have been getting us started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd appreciate better documentation and help videos, but again the suppport staff has sort of filled in that gap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- It's flexible and does most of what we need it to do Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- It's not necessarily a dislike but if you're coming from a 'page based' CMS like Wordpress the way you build pages might take a while to understand
- There's no page tree/foldering system so it's hard to understand site architechture, although this seems to be a limitation of all headless systems
- Customer support is ok, but not amazing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Contentstack's CMS has given us the flexibility to revolutionize our digital approach with speed and agility. From UX to Go-Live we move fast and pivot quickly. The "blank slate" approach sllows us to fully customize our CMS, and the ability to reference components from one stack to another eliminates duplicate content. The Customer Support and Technical Support is fast to respond and genuinely care for your work and success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
