Ease of use, UI, ease of integration and depth of features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The content editor and preview function is lacking and I tend to use a third party and paste in the copy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The possibility to schedule changes allows the workflow to be smoother. As a user-friendly platform, I can quickly create content that can be used in a lot of pages. I can easily find any doubt in the contenstack articles or through the customer support. It's very easy to integrate and implement new features comparing with our previous tool, for example payment methods, review system, external partners. I use it very frequently everyday and am glad to have a platform that doesn't break all the time or slow-CS has been a great improvement in my daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Contentstack doesn't allow you to select unlimited entries to add to a release, it doesn't have several type of accesses (just content editor and admin). At the moment we cannot use images from other scopes, which increases the amount of images in our assets. The search bar of ContentStack is also a bit weird-we cannot save our searches and when solving errors it's hard sometimes to know which is the issue in CS (doesn't tell you exactly which part is wrong) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- It is user friendly ( e.g intuitive to create, duplicate and publish content)
- It is possible to integrate with GetYourGuide other tools for Localisation for scaling
- Our engineers has found a way for bulk upload to save time to upload content at scale to enable content migration and turn content stack a place to host all of our content
- Can easily roll back to previous versions to fix some issues due to unintentional changes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Sometimes we still miss some fields to Localization and I think it is better if Content if can flag missing fields in integration with other tools
- Lack of a learning/ training hub that we can refer new joiners to so that they can learn Content Stack themselves Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used many CMSs as a website editor, and Contentstack does a great job of offering flexibility while not being too complicated to learn. I use Contentstack every day for multiple different websites and have had to train employees how to use Contentstack. overall it is pretty intuitive. When I do run into problems, the Contentstack support team is friendly and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, my only problem with the CMS is that there is a lack of contrast between fields while building a page. If I am working on a page while many accordions, it is easy to get lost in the stack if I have too many open at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer support is great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Clunky UI - Not the most intuitive tool for new users. you really have to know exactly what you're looking for.
Clunky UI - when on a parent page and clicking into child components, there is no breadcrumb
Clunky UI - hard to search for components if new user and unaware of all component types/titles
Reporting - cannot get holisitic view/ report of what components are on which parent pages
Reporting - cannot get holistic view of parent pages that a component is referenced in Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great for those wanting flexibility and control, Contentstack provides a user-friendly platform that allows for easy customization of your website at any time. It was easy from the get-go to navigate any edits, and I appreciate being able to create website pages with little to no background in website development! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features seem to be a little restricted with how many personalisations you can make, however the team at Contentstack are always happy to try to work with us to make the changes we want possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Ability to manage multiple languages seamlessly
2. Defining core content structures that can be re-used across multiple other content types
3. Support for multiple environments, groups and releases Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It sometimes gets difficult to track which versions for content entries are getting deployed at a single glance. Needs a good amount of due diligence to ensure wrong versions don't get deployed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ContentStack is easy to navigate. Details are organized and labeled accordingly. Our team uses the app on a daily basis to implement changes on our websites. There are also features that help facilitate these changes such as scheduling and staging, which make things easier as we no longer have to rely solely on our testing environment to see how our changes would look like. My team is also able to provide feedback and get customer support from time-to-time, especially when we encounter challenges with using the app. Overall, even if it has been less than a year since we've launched our website using ContentStack, it was easier to integrate into our daily processes than we initially expected. I hope ContentStack gives us more freedom to edit labels per categories and shift layers (e.g. nav menu items and sub-links) so that we can easily integrate terminologies that are specific to our organization. Also, I wish that the interface someday makes it easier for teams to collaborate on projects. What happens is that sometimes, scheduled events are overwritten if other team members are trying to change a different dimension in the site. Hopefully, the application becomes easier to collaborate in and that it would be strategized upon for this vision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Changes are super easy to make and you can personalize your page as much as you want. The interface is super user-friendly. I use it on a daily basis with my team. They can be autonomous even if they have no programation skills, which is great added-value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact when you change the name of a picture after having uploaded it, if you search for this new name, it is not taking it into account. Only the first name of an image can be used in the search field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
