Contentstack has made my merchandising job so much easier and efficient! The asset management and organization in itself is easy to manage and time-saving. It's easy to work with our developers to create entries that can be easily duplicated. I also love having the drag and drop feature to move around blocks and other content. So easy compared to our old, clunky tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Versioning can be hard and confusing when multiple people are working in the tool as well as when we are creating versions for multiple projects. There has been times where we've pushed through pages that are meant to be for a future project by accident but it is easy to go back and quickly push through the correct version.
Contentstack is great for controlling what aspects of the site can be updated because most of the things are controlled from what developers allow us to update as merchandisers. I would love to have a bit more control as a merchandiser for some one-off updates. A lot of changes we want have to go through the development process which makes the process longer.
Also, I wish there was a better way to organize entries instead of having to search based on tags. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The indexation of content and the search is bliss. Is easy and intuitive to find content and pages with easy queries and to filter content. The overall UI is also easy to understand and to interact to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The version control in multiple environments might be a little bit difficult to understand and to keep track of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that you can easily search all the pages and it is easy to publish changes. I use it daily and it has never crashed. Whenever I have an issue, it is also very easy to get help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that it is hard to look for images because when you search the name it does not always appear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is user-friendly and easier to keep track of the changes and I like the custom plugin feature.

Once you get the hang of it, it's a super intuitive and easy platform to use. There is also a wide range of support and training available to continue growing your capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not as straight forward as some of the other CMS software I have used previously. I also often get the different content types you can use within stacks confused so still plenty to learn here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User friendly. Simply select the content model you want and where you want it then fill in the content. Then after you have put all the content models together, you can publish to a sandbox and see how they all look before going live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It takes technical know-how to implement and build the different content models. And if there was an error made at the building stage, it will refelect in all subsequent use of that content model. And instead of being able to fix it, you may just have to build a new one from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
