Constant Contact is easy to use. It's user friendly, modular design makes it easy to duplicate emails, templates, and other features to make sending emails easy and fast. It's easy to implement. Customer service is fast to respond and helpful. We use the service every single day. It was easy for us to connect and integrate with Miva, which doesn't have a prebuilt integration. Sometimes I feel limited by constant contact because I wish there was custom design service like PhotoShop built into it. If you could edit photos or other items in constant contact it would improve the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Constant Contact made it very easy to transition from original emails to the templates they provide. Not only were my email designs much more sleek than what I was doing, but they have a ton of premade layouts to choose from for every occasion. Then, once the email is sent, I am able to track numerous numbers to see how many people opened my email and what they clicked inside the email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Constant Contact offers so much within their platform, its tough to find time to put aside to learn about everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Constant Contact is easy to use and has a number of templates/features to choose from. The analytics are excellent and give great insight into how our campaigns are performing. The email resend features and category options for our audiences are great as well. It has been easy to implement and to integrate into our current marketing campaigns. Customer support has been excellent. We use constant contact frequently and send multiple campaigns to multiple audiences weekly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No complaints at this point. The only challenge was how to keep our analytics history accurate with our previous tool so that we did not lose the history of previous users. The audience segmentation helped us overcome this issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We switched to Constant Contact a year ago from one of the other big companies with an animal themed name. Getting switched over and integrated from the other guy was a breeze and the CC team members I spoke with were all very helpful, kind, and excited to welcome us aboard. We love how much more intuitive the UI is, how many more building options there are in the email building tool, the fact that we can schedule re-sending emails to nonopeners, and most of all we LOOOOVE that it's HALF the price of the other guy!! We send emails at least once a week and it could not be easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I honestly haven't found any downsides! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use and the ability to integrate items created with Constant Contact into other platforms makes it a valuable tool in marketing. I utilize Constant Contact in creating a weekly newsletter for our audience and clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest downside I've encountered is that there seem to be random changes in how the tools work. For example, for several months I was able to move blocks of text when creating a newsletter with my mouse, then suddenly one day it seemed to become more sensitive as to how I could make the same changes. I really like seeing the stats provided for each link in our newsletter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There could be more templates for special occasions, like holiday cards, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The templates make it easy to build my email just about any way I want it. I can customize my look and the drag and drop feature has been wonderful. We try to connect about once a week with our customers and that has been just about perfect.
The trainings they offer are free and helpful--I love that the support their customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found many downsides to CC. There have been a few times when I can't place a picture exactly where I want it, but I've learned how to make it work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like their built in / drop and play features while creating emails. It makes formatting a lot easier and makes it look appealing to our audiences. I also really like their preloaded templates as it's easy to use them as inspiration all while making it your own Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have many complaints but, I dislike how sometimes the formatting shifts when sending test copies (text will overflow to an additional line that was not intended) - Things will shift around a little bit & that can be frustrating but, usually is fixable with spacers / dividers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I first had the help from Constant Contact to make a template for me to use. But after working with it a month, I realized I could customize and make my own template. I may change a little but keep the basic format and use weekly for my notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I started out with the Standard package, but after a year, went down to the Lite package. There are several features that I didn't use at the Standard, but i would like to see who is opening up the emails and who is not, which you can't see in the Lite package. Constant contact is extremely easy to use - it's perfect for someone who is just getting started with marketing automation and really just wants to focus on sending emails and tracking their success based on deliverability, clicks, opens, etc. I also liked that this platform is only $15/month if you have less than 500 subscribers. It's very affordable and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface doesn't have great designs and they need to figure out a way to allow people to copy and paste without bringing in background code, etc. I found myself wasting a lot of time making sure the fonts and colors were actually how they appeared in Constant Contact verses the screen. I think it would be helpful to have a better list segmenting tool where you can build smarter lists for better target marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
