Initially, I was hesitant to add another subscription to my monthly expenses. However, joining Constant Contact proved to be a worthwhile investment. Their design team helped me create a professional email template, and once I had that in place, loaded my contact lists, and established a weekly email routine, everything fell into place. The results came sooner than expected - I received an inquiry from someone who had been following my email updates, requesting an interview to list their home. I secured the listing and successfully sold their property. Now, my email marketing program runs smoothly, allowing me to easily update and send weekly newsletters. The return on investment has been remarkable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I uploaded my old and new contacts, I was temporarily locked out of the system because they were skeptical about the source of my contact information. I explained that I had used multiple CRM systems over the years, and these contacts were an accumulation from those various platforms. After a lot of effort and a frustrating period of time, they restored my access and the system was back up and running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use, simple layout but still looks very professional. All of our email correspondnce for our local government office to our residents goes out through Constant Contact and we've been very happy with that. It was very easy for us to implement and integrates well with our other systems. I love that you can connect your social feeds within constant contact and even plan posts from within the platform. Sometimes I wish a had a bit more control over editing features when designing a new layout for an e-blast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A huge point for me was the ability to import a target customer list and send the email directly from Constant Contact. I like how easy is to create an email. The building tools are pretty self-explanatory. Cost is worth it's value, especially since it is based on how many people you send it to. I love how when I load a pic it fits it into the box all nice for me (weird little thing, but a huge problem for me in the past). I like prebuilt templates that they offer. I generally don't 100% use them, but they help me get ideas for layouts. I appreciate them making templates based on holidays that are coming up. They have good ROI information on emails sent and downloadable lists on opens and click-throughs as well. Also like the fact that I can send myself test emails of what I am creating. It helps show me if an email is likely to go into spam. I have done tests that showed it go into spam, changed a few things in the subject line, and then the email came through fine. Adding video capabilities would be nice. My biggest issue I have had is one that I wish Constant Contact in general communicates with their clients. We have a large database that I pull customers from (vehicles sold and vehicles serviced), thousands per month. We usually target pretty specifically for emails, but for Black Friday decided to go wider (obviously). I made the email and scheduled to go out at a strategic time. I go in and find that it didn't send to all. Get support on the line and they say they have to verify and ask all kinds of questions to make sure these are our customers and not a bought list. Even after that, the rest of the emails were staggered in a 48 hour period. A Black Friday email is obviously a very time-sensitive advertisement and some people weren't getting the email until the last day of the event. All managers continue to recall that issue to this day. Just a heads up would have solved it (I would have done those questions earlier if I had known). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use the product for our all staff weekly notes. We've made it into an interactive way for staff to know what is happening in the district. I use it every week throughout the school year, however, have thought about finding a different platform more often than not. I like being able to see how many people are interacting with our content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Strongly limited to what you can do with design in the product. More often than not, I have to refresh my screen in order to paste something into a section because the right click to past won't come up. After refreshing it then works. Your mouse has to be in a very specific spot in order for the options for text to appear. We also use the poll as a way to interact with staff and you are very limited on the number of characters allowed in the poll. Lastly, often times the text changes style and size from what you put into the section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really enjoy the different features of Constant Contact, from the landing page to the newsletter. It is so convenient to not only schedule when the newsletter is supposed to go out, but to also have it resend to non-openers! And of course, the analytics is a sweet cherry on top-- I enjoy being able to segment and break down who opens the newsletters, and who does not! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I was on the free plan, Constant Contact was constantly contacting me, as frequent as 2-3 times a week. It almost made me choose MailChimp over Constant Contact, as I did not require too many features for my marketing needs. Creating the newsletter also does not allow as much freedom as say, Canva does with creating anything, or MailChimp does with arranging the layout, but I would say it is good enough. I have been using Constant Contact to create a daily newsletter for our ministry for over five years. it's ease of use and platform are so much easier than what I used before. The technical support has always been excellent. I plan to continue using this platform to reach our followers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the dropdown has been changed for changing color of the fonts and it is not as easy as the prior method. In fact, it is frustrating at times to get to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love using Constant Contact as the Communications Director at my school. It is an excellent tool for efficiently sharing structured and organized information with parents. I especially appreciate the ability to create lists and tags, ensuring the right messages reach the right audience. I love the "heat map" results. Being able to see which parents viewed my communications and what links gained the most traction is an amazing tool for ensuring I am effectively communicating. I use constant contact every day for my profession. It was easy to learn how to use and make my own creative spin with the tools provided. I also love the templates provided. I wish I could upload PDFs as images, I always have to turn them into PNG. It's not a big problem, though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that I have all of my marketing tools in one place. Between email marketing, texting, CRM database, and automation emails - Constant Contacts is one of the best platforms we work with. It is easy to use, keeps all of my maketing in one place and the scheduling is super easy. I also recently began posting Social Media posts through the platform and I LOVE that I can post on all channels simultaneously. The Shopify integration is fantatic as well. I implemented it a couple of weeks ago and it has worked seamlessly. We use Constant Contacts every single day and I could not imaging running the business without it. I wish I could send our MMS and not only SMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoy the ease of using Constant Contact. It is quick and easy to upload new contacts. Segmenting different customer preferences is super easy with the 'click to segment' option that is available. I also enjoy that the heat map shows the amount of clicks on each area that has been clicked on in an email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We create all of our emails in Canva first and then upload them into Constant Contact for distribution. Due to that, our storage fills up very quickly, and deleting pictures is not an easy process. It takes a long time and glitches a lot when you are trying to mass delete. Uploading pictures as well can take a long time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Unable to overlay images and text - sometimes spacing is slightly off due to this limitation

Quirky - sometimes when you go back to update something, it will not stick or the font will show up differently which is not always easy to see in the software
