The only improvement I would suggest is having an easier crop tool for receipts. Currently it is not able to have a "release" workflow for travels.
Every change is mentioned in the protocoll, which will at some point overload the overview (you change a "," -> Protocoll; you change a "." -> Protocoll etc.). Therefore only possible to delete full upload and start from the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Circula falls short of what I expected beyond the basics of uploading receipts and submitting reports. Here’s what I ran into:
1. There’s no obvious way to create a report — it took me a while to realize the “+” button in the bottom-right corner was what I needed.
2. If an expense gets rejected, I can’t just edit it. I have to start from scratch, reupload all the receipts, and re-enter all the details.
a) There’s no option to add or remove receipts from a report once it’s created.
b) Worse, once you create a report, the receipt storage clears out, so if you need to resubmit, you have to upload everything again.

it's very userfriendly, easy to handle, fast, gives you a perfect overview of your travels or purchases, I like the fact that you can put all the costs of one trip or timeframe in one folder, i like the function of the filing so that you can upload invoices but you don't have to turn them in straight away, it gives you a very good overview Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
i think the themes could be a bit more logical, for example there is one application thats called "drive costs 7 Fahrtkosten" but you can't chose "train" or "bus" which i think should be in there too, also i think in the food section for the nights you are away should become a new, shorter and more clear writing, it's still not clear when that i should only choose the meals that i don't need the money back for ( I mean it's clear but it is not intuitiv and since I don't use the system everyday it's a question everytime) I would probably turn the process arround so that choose the meals you need money back for only, maybe the question of "is there a 3 months rule" should be explained right beneath it because its not clear whats meant with that, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Possibility to directly import bills and receipts and having a simple tracking of expenses while on a trip. No more fear of forgetting a expense.

Haven't been able to import more than one receipt per Expense. This would be helpful to also attach documents regarding exchange rate.
In general exchange rate handling could be better. i.e. possibly taking the foreign currency amount from receipt but providing another input field how much it was in home currency or a field for a default exchange rate... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
