What do you like best about ChannelMix?

ChannelMix is the perfect blend between an out of the box solution that can be customized and tailored to your business's needs in a price range that makes MMM and attribution attainable for businesses of most small(ish) - mid ranges. The customer support is unmatched. I lean on my account team all the time to help me brainstorm how to answer questions I get from leadership with their tools and reports. And, if it can't be answered with the way the tool stands, they are happy to jump in and make edits to get us the answer.

Another huge selling point for me was that the reports are extremely user friendly and as self explantory as you can get for the type of material it is.

The implementation was super easy and I love that these reports are always up to date, unlike when we were working with our past MMM vendor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChannelMix?

There are some area of opportunity to improve the user interface of the Control Center where users can connect and reconnect data sources. However, I know the team has this on their roadmap and will be improved sooner rather than later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChannelMix solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are leaning on ChannelMix to help us understand how our marketing dollars are working together on both a national and local level to make decisions on our marketing mix. We use it to forecast our media plans and adjust according to what it is recommending. What do you like best about ChannelMix?

ChannelMix offered all of the features that we desired when we looked into ETL platforms. Many platforms limit the number of connections you can use--ChannelMix does not. ChannelMix comes with a comprehensive collection of dashboards which was lacking from some other platforms. And we have been able to customize some connections through their customer support team. Overall, ChannelMix has been able to fulfill all of our tracking needs for the diverse group of clients we work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a somewhat steep learning curve, which is to be expected with any full-featured platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChannelMix solving and how is that benefiting you?

The hardest part of running campaigns on multiple platforms is being to track the totals: Total spend, impressions, clicks, etc. ChannelMix allows us to connect multiple data sources, including offline sources, so that we can track these totals. But their dashboards also allow us to break everthing down by marketing channel and campaign. In addition, there are other dashboards that allow us to look at just Social Media, digital, and traditional media. This lets us drill-down into each channel to look at performance in one place instead of logging into multiple platforms. And because the dashboards are all in Tableau, we can customize them or build new ones to satisfy any custom requirements a client might have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ChannelMix?

ChannelMix helps me feel confident in my data across all my clients. Their logic behind their normalization creates ease of use in the CM platform as well as the client facing dashboards me and my team create on a weekly basis. My team is able to focus on tailored dashboard solutions for our client using creative freedom because the datasets CM helps create are fluid and able to match most solutions we're trying to achieve. What do you dislike about ChannelMix?

Honestly, many of my pain points with CM have been addressed and solved over the years of our partnership. They are a very aware organization that is on the frontline of best practices and industry leading know-how. Typically any pain points we find are on my end and CM is always keen to help. i'd say at a minimum for a negative, sometimes rolling out new features there are some bugs but never anything significant that hault my day-to-day. What problems is ChannelMix solving and how is that benefiting you?

My Agency uses tons of platforms, vendors, tagging and attritubtion models and in the past we would manually collect, pivot, report and analyze the data which would be a very length process. To simply put it, we partnered with CM to automate as much of our data and analytics as we could to ultimately save time & money and providing more value to clients retainers. What do you like best about ChannelMix?

The ability to have a reliable outsourced analytics platform, team, and quality reporting for a reasonable value is why we've stayed with ChannelMix for many years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChannelMix?

The only challenge we've encountered is our need for more consulting services since we do not have an in-house analytics team. The other item is getting alerted on broken data feeds, but I believe that is in the 2024 roadmap to correct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ChannelMix?

The data aggregation is simple and is done mostly by support staff, making it easy for anyone to do. The pre-made dashboards also make it so anyone can view their data without needing to build anything complicated in Tableau. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When activating data and when QAing data it can be difficult since so much relies on ChannelMix support, waiting for them to respond when you are on a time crunch is not ideal. ChannelMix helps us combine all of our data from multiple sources and harmonize it so we can view it in one cohesive dashboard. What do you like best about ChannelMix?

Channelmix takes a very complicated set of tasks and fully manages them. Our agency uses them across our clients to aggregate all relevant media data and manage our data warehouse. They make the entire processs quick and easy for us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChannelMix?

There aren't a ton of cons we've experienced directly. However, one thing we dislike is that occasionally we are charged support hours for issues we believe are on their end rather than us requesting additional assistance beyond the scope of our contract.
