There are some other great apps that are add-ons, which means we have to do a business case for each application rather than just a single implementation BC Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Once you get the hang of it and become trained on this, its a straight forward process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isnt any, I enjoy using it. The Certinia ERP Clous is a great way to do your work on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
FF's Accounting package (FFA) is hosted on the Salesforce platform, allowing a lot of flexibility and customizations to meet business needs. That said, the product comes out-of-the-box with all the primary functionality most businesses would require. They are also making inroads with a lot of the weaker areas of the product, and the roadmap in these areas is reasonably strong.
However, the strongest area of FFA is when you partner it with the rest of the Financial Force solution. In our case, we also use PSA and the fairly seamless integration between the 2 products is a huge win. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are based in Australia and the localisation of the product is currently fairly limited. It is on the roadmap, but basic functionality like bank feeds and BAS reports do not exist, which can be a difficult discussion with stakeholders when put aside a lot of other products that offer this out-of-the-box.
With the flexibility of the system comes a learning curve. Users have to be prepared to learn the ins and outs of the system, and how the data model fundamentally works, to get the most out of it. You will need a technical system administrator who has the time to dedicate to managing the product.
The user interface can sometimes be clumsy and confusing, or it can take several clicks to do basic tasks. I believe this will improve over time but is a current limitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to use and we can save invoices on the supplier accounts rather than print them out. Saves paper and it is easy to produce a copy if auditors require to check for authentisity Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Difficult to produce tidy customer account statements. Cannot get a full picture of all transactions on an account. One page view with all transations, invoices, crdit notes and payments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To have ERP integrated with PSA is a big plus. Billing and Revenue Recognition are strong foundations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The weakest parts: no integrated solution for HR/Payroll. In Accounting: Payable Invoice processes (OCR), Fixed Assets and Bank Transaction processing requires improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how Certinia integrates with Salesforce and the other systems that we use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting can be an issue, but it's getting better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Coming from disparate data sources, this has been an absolute game-changer for us. Now I have a piece of software that can provide insight into business processes in real-time and give us the tools to make timely business choices. I don't know how we did this prior to having Certinia. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have nothing negative to say about the ERP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Here's what I love about Certinia ERP:
# One single view of a customer, across companies, without needing to switch between companies
# Automation is endless
# Continuous improvement from Certinia
# Reporting options are brilliant Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Here's what I dislike about Certinia ERP:
# The initial cost Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The application is web-based, so I can work from anywhere. It supports multi-company, multi-currency capabilities, which are helpful for our company—the ability to import/export information from the system. Running financial reports is useful. The ability to have customized options and the connection with Salesforce objects allows easy access to account information. The necessary infrastructure is already in place. Lack of flexibility around the managed aspects of the software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Real time reporting on a global level is very useful, with lots of functionality. Being a cloud based platofrm it is accessable from anywhere. Of course the integration with the other FinancialForce modules (PSA et al) help complete the package. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a lot to learn, comming from Sage 200, but alot more functionality! This of course comes with alot more complexity - there is a (manigable!) learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
