Post installation support is nonexistent!! All you can do is email Support agents who are not knowledgeable about the app and its functions. It takes forever to get anything resolved. Emailing your Account Rep is useless as all they can help with is provisioning new licenses. Emailing Customer Success is also useless as the only response they provide is to submit a support case or post to Certinia user forums and hope someone other than Certinia and help you with your issue. We appreciate that we don't need to hire outside developers to modify our process flows. Building automated flows doesn't require any coding knowledge and is quite simple. Many of the processes that we couldn't accomplish with our old system have been automated. Interfaces are generally friendly to users.
We were successful in locating applications on the market to create simple interfaces with our online sales systems.
Despite being simple to use for routine operations, the system is incredibly strong and capable of managing and maintaining massive live client databases.

The ease of use is something that I really enjoy about Billing Central. As a PS cloud user in parallel, I appreciate that the layout and click by click experience is consistent across the solutions. The best thing that Certinia provides is regular updates and quick support. it is very user-friendly and easy to use so anyone can use it and very easy to implement as well.it is built on the Salesforce platform, which is cloud-based so we can easily integrate and design various business functions. frequency of use of ERP cloud is very high. it provides a number of features like collection plus, cash entry, payment plus, financial period, reporting, cash matching, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
as per my experience, I don't think so, there is any drawback or dislike about this cloud as I am currently using this for my customer. whenever we are facing any issue, the quick support team is always there to help and we get quick responses from them. and one of the best things is, from time to time we get new releases. Our company has enjoyed all of the capabilities that Certinia provides to the accounting department and other capabilities and views other departments can have. I feel as though Certinia is always continuing to improve its software and continues to provide regular releases and trainings on those updates. The hardest part we have had to deal with is that we were early adopters/implementers of Certinia. We found 3rd-party implementers that told us they could implement the system precisely to our specifications but have been dealing with issues ever since that implementation. Luckily we have received help from Certinia to start correcting many of these issues brought on by the implementation. Certinia ERP Cloud seemlessly integrates with SalesForce and Certinia's PSA platform, which makes running a consulting services business much faster than when we had a siloed tech stack. Many of the accounting features (especially revenue recognition) make bookkeeping and reporting much easier than with other systems we've used.
I like the fact that Certinia has a flexible, customizable interface.

There are 2 issues with Certinia ERP Cloud that, if resolved, will make Certinia a much better product.
The first isssue is that the GUI needs work. There's a lack of consistency in the look and feel of many of the different areas of the accounting, which requires me as the end user to do a lot of pattern-switching when using the program, which slows me down. Additionally, the system is not easy to use out of the box and almost always requires a ton of customization to bring to a workable, stable state, which adds considerable implementation time and learning curves to organizations who aren't ready to roll up their sleaves and dive into a lot of technical issues. If you're a company that prefers the ease of use of a what-you-see-is-what-you-get program like QuickBooks or NetSuite, Certinia ERP Cloud may not be for you.
The second issue is that it's very difficult to find technical documentation, help files, and training videos for Certinia ERP Cloud, which adds unecessary difficult to a product that already has a high learning curve. I had to do a lot of training sessions with Certinia technical customer success managers to learn the skills necessary to run my accounting department with Certinia when I would have preferred a more self-paced learning program. I like the DataStream functionality that allows for an easily data upload. You can put your source data into a simple Excel template and then, you can upload (or drag and dop) the Excel into the DataStream screen. All the data will get automatically distributed to the right tables.
If your Excel contained a list of invoices, you could see them all recorded in the Invoices section after the upload. You just need to select the List View: Invoices – All.
If your uploaded data contains any errors, DataStream detects them and list them for you, so you can correct them in your Excel file and reupload the file again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
