"Powerful, Flexible, and Constantly Improving Conversational AI Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Botpress?

The modular architecture of Botpress simplifies connecting workflows, managing context throughout extended conversations, and integrating with APIs or CRMs. I especially value how Botpress merges a visual flow builder with the flexibility to incorporate code actions and advanced logic when necessary, truly offering the best of both worlds. What do you dislike about Botpress?

If I could change one thing, it would be having more control over data management — like the ability to delete conversations, users, and log events directly from the dashboard. Aside from that, the overall experience has been excellent, and Botpress has quickly become a key part of our automation stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Reliable, and Highly Recommended"
5/5
What do you like best about Botpress?

I like that Botpress has a free version and that it is very stable. Additionally, the platform is very easy to use, even without prior experience, and I can progress with the help of ChatGPT without many setbacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Botpress?

You could have your own chat with AI that helps you step by step or resolves doubts for self-taught people. An integrated chat would save time on questions about how to do something in Botpress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Functional, But Needs Improvements"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Botpress?

I started using Botpress because I was looking for open source chatbot creation solutions. What I like most about Botpress is that it works well for customer service and lead qualification. I also use most of the features offered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Botpress?

I think some obsolete functions could be removed. An example would be the addition of a module called card, which was replaced by another with AI. Furthermore, I found the initial setup difficult, mainly because it doesn't have a multilingual environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An intuitive platform to create chatbots without coding headaches"
5/5
What do you like best about Botpress?

What I like most about Botpress is how easy it feels to bring ideas to life. I don’t have a technical background, but I was able to create a functional chatbot in a short time. The visual flow builder makes it simple to design conversations, and the option to connect APIs opens up a lot of possibilities. I also love that I can customize parts of the bot without touching heavy code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Botpress?

At first, I felt a bit overwhelmed with some advanced options. If you’re a beginner, you might need some time to understand how everything fits together. Also, I think the documentation could be more beginner-friendly in certain parts. But once you get used to it, it becomes a very powerful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Complete and flexible chatbot tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Botpress?

I tested several options, and the most comprehensive platform I found is Botpress. What I appreciate most is how it processes data from my website, PDFs, and documents into the knowledge base. I have tried to do this on other platforms, and it is not an easy task—yet it is truly the heart and brain of the chatbot. In addition, Botpress is very flexible and open, allowing you to build exactly what you need with plenty of integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Botpress?

The platform has its complexities, and certain tasks can be a bit challenging to accomplish. I would recommend adding an AI chatbot that could help generate code for users. When I tried using ChatGPT, I found that some functions and options were deprecated, so I had to test and make corrections several times. In the end, though, everything worked out fine. "A Flexible AI Chatbot Builder with Strong Customization Options"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Botpress?

What I liked best about Botpress was how easy it was to design conversations using the visual flow builder. It didn’t require deep coding knowledge, but still gave flexibility when customization was needed. I also liked that it connected with multiple channels like websites, Slack, or WhatsApp without too much extra work. The AI features, combined with rule-based flows, made it possible to handle both simple FAQs and more complex conversations effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Botpress?

There wasn’t much to dislike, but in the beginning there was a small learning curve—especially when setting up advanced integrations. Some of the documentation felt too high-level at that time. However, once I got familiar with the platform, these challenges turned into strengths because of the flexibility it offered Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
