It does feel nice to be recognized immediately for your contributions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Much like tipping, this system shifts the responsibility of compensation from the employer to someone else (patron for tipping, employee for Bonusly). I don't know the full details of the financials behind this program, but there's no way management would have gone for it if it were MORE expensive than handing out bonuses to everyone yearly. Instead of cutting or doing away with bonuses, ownership has now implemented social media, subject to the same whims and cliqueness found in standard social media, to take the place of direct financial compensation. Instead of people/families looking forward to little boost for the holidays etc, now you have to worry about office politics and how popular you might be with others to score some extra cash. And by extra, I mean a pitiful amount. 5000 nuggets will get you the same $500 bonus as before, which will take most people well over a year to acheive. And that's if you know to use the cash out option, which is buried amongst all the charitable contributions you can make or the gift cards you can redeem Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bonusly makes it very interesting and fun when it comes to rewarding. We can appreciate and recognize employees by rewarding them with points which can be later exchanged or redeemed. The reward catalogue supports all major countries and their respective top gift rewards like amazon, flipkart and other top stores. It even provides detailed reporting which is helpful in tracking engagement and what rewards are being distributed. It is easy to use and implement and doesn't take much time if you take the demo. Bonusly doesn't have a feature that would help track goals and view detailed reporting of each progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Free Starbucks and pretzels are amazing. It's implemented wonderfully, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to participate in using Bonusly. There are plenty of stores to choose from. I like the option to add gifs when posting points for someone. It's easy to use, and I frequently do. It could be integrated into any team setting. Additionally, customer support has been effective and quick to resolve any issues I've encountered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only dislike is really nothing to do with the software. It's just that Bonusly isn't living to its fullest potential when more than half the team refuses to spend their monthly allowance. It could be so much sweeter around here if everyone would share some love. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bonusly provides such an easy way to recognize the contributions that your coworkers make each and every day. The familiar interface, similar to social media, make it easy to navigate and interact with. Plus, the ability to utilize media like GIFs in posts really makes the system engaging and, dare I say, entertaining! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't much to dislike, to be honest. If I were to be really picky, I would prefer there to not be any fees associated with cashing out your points via PayPal, but I understand that those fees are from PayPal and not Bonusly directly, so there may not be anything that can be done to address this. Bonusly is honestly one of the best things we’ve introduced to our team. It makes recognizing coworkers super easy and fun, which has really helped boost morale around us. People are way more engaged, and you can tell it creates a more positive, appreciative culture. I also really enjoy the GIF library, which is most of the time the highlight of the appreciation posts and pairs well with other platforms such as Rippling or Slack by providing easy-to-use shortcuts. The only thing I can say is that while the platform is easy to use, I would like more flexibility in how rewards and recognition are structured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I loved that there is a shared space where I can express my own gratitude and highlight someone else's achievements - as well as receive a public compliment for doing something worthy.
The idea is simple and powerful. The interface is friendly and empowering. The capabilities are incredible, allowing for maximum creativiry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I would like Bonusly to improve is adding the ability to hide all the comments when adding your own. There were cases where I wanted to leave a comment but couldn't even see the post - because of all the comments on display. It was either the post, or my comment, a PC screen wasn't enough. With Bonusly, I'm able to know what's going on for the entire team. Sometimes work can feel siloed within a department, especially at a fully remote company. But with Bonusly, I know when someone in a totally different department does something cool... and I'm able to show some support, encouraging them to keep up the good work! Sometimes the web browser version has been glitchy (although I haven't had any issues with it recently). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think its so important that employees feel appreciated and a system like this makes recognition and rewards very easy. You tag your employee. You hashtag a corporate value. You chose how many points to award. It's something I use every month, going through all my points. The rewards cataloge has both a nice variety of awards and, something that sets them apart from competitors, even low value awards like a $1 Amazon voucher, which means people shouldn't be left with points they can't use. The one downside I see in Bonusly, compared to previous to a similar rival I used at a previous employer, is there is no option to recognize someone without issuing reward points. Sometimes when the points for the month have run out, there are still things that you want to shout about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bonusly has a really great and intuitive UI. There is also a really good selection of Rewards. Its super easy to use and I like to use it every month to reward my colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Deciding when to cash in for a Reward or keep saving up is difficult!
Usually I dont remember to use a # in my message. It's already good about reminding you though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using bonusly for about 10 months now and it is really great at the auto-scheduled bonusly points. We have it set up for new hires, birthdays and anniversary dates. I also love how it reminds managers and other team members about those dates, as well as using their points by the end of the month. Usually that last week we see a huge surge in peer to peer recognition that gets everyone really excited.
It's pretty easy to use, and the options to give people seem to make them really happy.
Unfortunetly I wasn't with my organization when they did implmentation, so I can't comment on that, but maintaining the system is incredible easy and hands free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only grip is about the hashtags, if its not one already in the system, you have to choose another one that matches the system to process the request, and sometimes I forget what is already in there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In my experience with Bonusly, one of the aspects I like most about it is the inuitiveness. The interface is simple to understand which makes it easy to give points to people, as well as see what points have been given to you any by whom. I especially like the integration with Slack to see a running ticker of Bonusly activity. Bonusly provides a user-friendly way to give encouragment and recognition to teammates and co-workers for their work efforts, or just because you thought of them. You can trade in Bonusly points that you've earned for points you can give to others, or trade them for rewards like gift cards. I love it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly can not think of a single thing I don't like about it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
