I really like how it can do so much. I like it would help ever Non Profit in DC. It is very easy to use when you get a hand of what is going on with every action. Easy to get some customer support from people that have used it more then me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing. There is seriously nothing about Bonterra that is different from any other CRM that would make it worth your money and the SEVERE lack of customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They are not worth the money. For what they charge, the system should be much more user friendly. I have been calling every single day for the past 34 days and have not gotten a single response. I have emailed 6 times and no response. The system is cumbersome and not at all helpful for a smaller nonprofit. There is a LOT of competition now, even some completely free systems, and I cannot recommend enough that you choose something besides EveryAction. Plus now, they are using their own payment processor so they get to take even more of your money. Seriously, do your organization a favor and do not use them so that your donors can know their money goes to something that is actually valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most important aspect for me is that we are able to do so many things in one system. Donation pages, membership recruiting, petitions, newsletters, you name it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some aspects are not as flexible as I would like. There are some settings or hard coded things. For example, the Event Type must be "ticketed event" in order to have an event registration form where people can buy tickets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find putting out the emails easy. The drag and drop editor works well. Entering and managing the database is also simple. Reporting is also simple to attain and is getting better and better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Learning to use the software can be cumbersome. Language about the apps can be confusing. And it can be time consuming to figure out how the features work.
We are a small organization and sometimes the features are limited. I don't use the events and online action feature very often because I cannot get the event to send an automatic reminder for attendees of an event 24 hours in advance without having to send it out myself by collecting the people attending emails online and sending out a mass email reminding them to come. It would be great to be able to have this program automatically send out a 24 reminder that the event is coming up. It would also be terrific because the Online Action feature automatically allows users to sign up for our group if they wish. This wat, I don't have to use an alternative and try to track down new users since they signed up for the event via another application other than EasyAction . It's easy to navigate. Filing system for reports is incredibly helpful. Powerful tools for slicing and dicing metrics. The bcc line is a godsend for fundraising, even for staff who aren't using it regularly but have relationships with donors. It's actually fun to use everyday! Tracking everything in a donor or member profile is easy and efficient, and the ability to prioritize what I'm looking at is icing on the cake. When we first got set-up we had excellent support and it was easier to intergrate (from Raiser's Edge) than we anticipated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While we'd love to have better intergration with Wordpress to our website, it just hasn't been possible without a really annoying patch. But, on the up side, we're revamping our website, so this may not even be relevant in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everyaction/Bonterra allows us to do just that by harnessing powerful amounts of data all in one place. We love that we can communicate effectively with precise segmentation, track all kinds of data, create audience-building forms, and generate accurate donor reports all in the same software. No real downsides. Perhaps more customer support and case studies on how to integrate all features and aspects of the software successfully, particularly the volunteer management piece.
