**What do you like best about BluePlanner?**

BluePlanner has been a solid planning tool for our team. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, which has helped shorten ramp-up time and made day-to-day planning smoother and more efficient. One of the biggest positives has been the engagement and responsiveness of the UpClear team—they’re proactive, collaborative, and genuinely invested in helping us get the most value from the platform.

**What do you dislike about BluePlanner?**

The main drawback is that some of the additional modules we’d like to leverage come at an extra cost, which can add up over time. That said, the core functionality is solid, and overall BluePlanner delivers a very positive experience that we’d confidently recommend.

**What problems is BluePlanner solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BluePlanner solves a key challenge for us around trade spend visibility and budget control. It provides a centralized, structured way to plan, track, and reconcile promotional spend, which helps ensure our actual trade spend stays aligned with approved budgets. This visibility allows us to quickly identify gaps between planned vs. committed vs. spent dollars, course‑correct earlier in the year, and reduce end‑of‑period surprises. As a result, we’re making more informed decisions, improving budget discipline, and having more productive conversations internally around trade investments and ROI.

**What do you like best about BluePlanner?**

Blue Planner supports your journey from transactional promotion maintenance to revenue growth management culture.  The platfrom helps support collaboration between Finance/Trade teams and Sales.

**What do you dislike about BluePlanner?**

Least helpful would be lack of API's to support analytics power users.

**What problems is BluePlanner solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to effeciently measure trade efficiency and supporting KPI's.  To provide a "closed loop" including payments and deduction managment.

**What do you like best about BluePlanner?**

Incredibly powerful and feature rich, has all of the bells and whistles but is a great value. We liked that it was easy to configure, not a steep learning curve for our sales team, and was an very fast implementation. Integration to our SAP ERP was simple, and the support we received during implementation and ongoing is great. UpClear is very open to feedback and is constantly working to improve the product with new releases and upgrades. We're very happy with our choice!

**What do you dislike about BluePlanner?**

No downsides. We thoroughly evaluated 3 other vendors and BluePlanner was the clear cut winner in the evaluation, and they have delivered what they promised.

**What problems is BluePlanner solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BluePlanner has helped us get visibility to our trade spending, unlocking opportunities to refine and optimize. Additionally, we're able to manage a Sales forecast based on fundamentals (Base + Incremental). We now have a much clearer picture of what is going to happen, which has been a huge help in building AOP and reforecasts during the year.

Ease of use and attention to the necessary parts of TPM.

Limitations on some of the reports and having to shrink the size of the data you wish to review.

Tracks spending and has helped maintain desired levels of promotional activity.
